  2. Really hard to pick and rank ten from the vast catalog of both labels. I haven't been truly disappointed by any of those that I've owned... well, the Waldon/Silvano duo isn't the best Mal and the Art Davis is a little underwhelming, but one could do worse than listening to either record.
  3. ha! busy website design, didn't notice those. They're way at the bottom, when it might've made more sense to put them at the top.
  4. The discussion here inspired me to look for this, very nice album, i like blues dingers accompanied by jazzmen,
  5. Does anyone else see the SoundCloud clips on the original post's link? There's about 4 or so and they're approx 6 mins long.
  6. I love Clifford Jordan ! Okay, first I had heard him only on record. That was actually my second to first jazz album at all when I was a kid "The Great Concert of Charles Mingus" from Paris 1964, and I still did not know any of the musicians with the exception of Mingus and Dolphy, but imediatly liked Clifford Jordan. Later I heard them in Europe with Cedar Walton, it must have been in the mid 70´s, anyway after 73, 73 was my first year of jazz and my first concert was Miles. And soon after that Mingus....so I was "hooked" for ever !
  7. sure, soon !
