  7. It's very good. I picked it up the minute I saw Ammons' name on it. I got the 1993 Vee Jay CD with bonus tracks.
  8. Their whole discography is well worth investigating - even if you're not a fan of the composer. I wasn't really into Schumann but their album of his quartets is completely wonderful

Jerry Garcia “Live at the Warfield 1991” disc 1 A six disc set released Friday of three shows at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco in early 1991. Very good sound on this first one. Followed by Kenny Davern, “A Night with Eddie Condon” Arbors Jazz cd. This is a live recording from 1971 led by Condon, not released until 2001. The group included. guitarist Eddie Condon, trumpeter Bernie Privin, trombonist Lou McGarity, pianist Dill Jones, bassist Jack Lesberg, Kenny Davern clarinet and soprano saxophone, and Cliff Leeman, drummer. 550×550 546 KB
  18. Manchester Originals vs the Northern Superchargers in the Hundred. These teams have new owners, and next year will probably have new names. Originals won both women's and men's games on the day, the latter by some distance. Beautiful weather and a large crowd.
