  2. Last call before what's left goes in the trade-in pile at my local used record store tomorrow. Thanks. Shipping is $6.50 per item (I can combine shipping if multiple items ordered). U.S. shipping only. Payment by pay pal friends/family. The British Invasion: The History of British Rock, Vols 1-4 4 CD, Rhino, 1990 CDs and CD jewel cases: Excellent Slipcase: Very Good. Slipcase has an approx. 1" tear to top edge of slipcase and some shelf wear to corners and edges. $31 Albert Ayer: Revaluations: The Complete ORTF Fondation Maeght Recordings (4 CD, Elemental Music, 2022) CDs, CD digipacks, booklet: Mint Slipcase: Near Mint due to a horizontal scratch to mid slipcase spine which is how it arrived to me from Amazon. It is a superficial scratch (may be due to a box cutter) and not deep. Otherwise, everything is basically like new. $29 The Story of Jamaican Music: Tougher Than Tough (4 CD, Mango, 1993) Everything (long outer box, CDs, booklet) is in Near Mint condition. Limited Numbered Edition (this is # 028348) $26
  3. Yes... Vinyl24 and Plaatboef are super close to each other on Oude Gracht and both worth a visit (we combined it with visits to Nijntje Museum or Speelklok Museum which are closely...). Plaatboef is similar to their shop in Rotterdam, not spectacular but very decent (think of Recordmania maybe), Vinyl24 is a strange one, compared to 10 weeks ago, they had sold most of their stuff and replaced it, it's mostly priced to go... You can follow them on insta and see what their recent acquisitions are... The Hines was from Dig It, in a different part of the city center, it's a small store but I found cool stuff at great prices like this and the Asch Recordings of Mary Lou Williams .... Will go again....
  4. https://www.dustygroove.com/item/227992/Billy-Harper:Trying-To-Make-Heaven-My-Home?cat=jazz&incl_cs=1&no_incl_in=1&sort_order=release_date this one hadn’t had an official cd release till now and is highly recommended as well
  5. Niko

    Tina Brooks

No, that was Mary Lois... that Msc thesis is really quite amazing in its comprehensiveness, making it, e.g., quite clear that Ellen Brooks was neither the one who shot him nor the trigger for Mary Lois shooting him
  6. I'll make that deal1
  7. Looks great! Enjoy!
  8. Any store recommendations Niko? I’ve noticed there are multiple vinyl stores in the same street.
  9. $14 for essentially a one time played album.
  10. The beer I know very well, one of the most easily drinkable Belgian style tripels but I do admire the glass.... One of the results of going to Utrecht with my daughter today and sneaking in some time for record shopping...
  11. Today
  12. Pretty sure you’ll like it
  13. “On & On: Jose James Sings Badu” Universal Japan SHM-CD A very interesting (Japan only) cd.
  14. More Pee Wee: Looks like a tasty beverage!
  15. Thanks for the reminder on that one. Nice record.
  16. Huh. I feel like that was floating around as a bootleg video at one point, but I'm not sure if it's still around on YouTube.
