I'm always wary of sales pitches that make no sense. I think "cash grab" and just move on.
On the snap, crackle and pop of records, I recently was given a box of records by a friend who moved out of town and wasn't taking them for the ride. Lots of classic and soft rock such as early Doobies, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Bobby Caldwell, Ambrosia, Toto and the like. Even some 45s of classic tunes. Started playing them and while they looked to be in great shape both vinyl and cover, they played terribly. Then I noticed they were all a bunch of value buys, Rainbo pressings etc. Makes me think even a cleaning wouldn't matter.

In 1995, Gizmo Williams signed the program for my niece, "Happy Birthday Elizabeth"!!! She still has it. Fifteen years later, she married a guy from Edmonton, and naturally he was very impressed!
