  1. The Conn is way too bright but has other qualities. Just back the treble off a bit. In the vinyl days folks used tone controls all the time. Today, it's a lost art.
  2. Jackoff 'n Bach
  3. I hope to go thru my remaining Delmark vinyl this weekend and report back. IIRC, the records from the '70s with the circle were inferior pressings and after a while Bob went back to Wakefield for his records and the labels changed back. I will probably see Bob on Monday and hope to remember the questions posted here. Send PMs for detailed questions. I just typed two sentences ending in "back".
  4. Great!
  5. The earliest labels were a drawing of a street sign with Delmar (the original name) on it. The k was added as a result of a trademark infringement claim. Bob started the label in St Louis, on Delmar Blvd.
  6. Those would be '70s and '80s titles, roughly.
  7. Ran not Ron
  8. Package weight and value would be of interest.
  9. Eat well and listen again.
  10. I don't think they ever have stuff "in stock" for online orders. Had this problem in the past, called and was told they were waiting for stock to arrive from "distributors".
  11. That's good. Some how I missed that bit. All zoned out from all the strange shit I've been listening to this week. Dave Koz?
  12. Not really good enough.
  13. Well EXCUSE ME.
  14. Elsewhere, things be different. I thought this was about "music".
  15. In spite of my mock negative post, Aggie is a wonderful guy and source of good music. Just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea.
  16. Guess I not really suprised this thread "went the tenor way" BUT the Raney/Zoller stuff is wonderful. Thanks.
  17. Have not trusted anyone with an x in their name since Francis X Bushman.
  18. Guess JS is a glass half full guy, at best.
  19. I see new marketing possibilities.
