  1. Not unheard of - Miles started recording for Columbia before he had delivered all the material for his Prestige contract.

  3. It is my understanding Bob Cummins (an old friend) left the masters to the respective artists.
  4. Possibly a quicker turnaround at the pressing plant 'cause of slowing demand.

  6. As I was attempting to point out, AAA only means "all analogue" - source could be session tapes, production masters, safeties, reference copies, even cassettes. The number of generations from the session tapes makes a big difference.
  7. A fair amount of "smoke & mirrors" in the "audio sourcing". No mention of original masters, production masters, safeties, etc.
