  1. Another vote for Tenderly - takes all the awards for composition, arrangement, and performance. ← Listened for the first time today. I've got to agree, Tenderly is the winner. ← That and smokin' Section are currently my favs
  2. It was very nice of the Nessas to drive all the way down from Whitehall just to do that. ←
  3. I went to Schuler's Bookstore on Alpine, in Grand Rapids, Mi today to set up our new CDs there. While I was filling out the consignment form for the manager in the music dept, there was a couple standing near us, patiently waiting to buy "This Is The Place" .. The guy told me they had heard us on Lazaro's show this morning and figured this Schuler's outlet would have a copy. So the manager slapped a price tag on a Cd and handed it to them with a smile and they left us to pay for their CD.. I smiled at the manager and said, "I hope you don't think I staged that?"
  4. Jim never called it..
  5. Happy Birthness " Soul Man"
  6. There is a rail trail that passes a sewage treatment facility. They have warning signs on the fences that say something like, "Do not drink the water past this fence".. As if some dumb ass is going to climb over the fence to drink or fill a water bottle..
  7. I talked to my dad yesterday to find out if he got the CDs. He got them on Thursday. On the Blue Lake CD he was disappointed with the mix on the sax. I have to agree. I wish John would have manned the mix. The kids he had doing it were obviously not paying close enough attention to the EQs .. The trio mix sounds real good. It's the horn mixes that could have been better...
  8. That's great! Maybe this will help get us a gig at the Dennos for the concert series..
  9. ← That's cool!
  10. How do we get Organissimo on Fresh Air? Or any NPR show for that matter?? ← Hmmmmm. . . . Get Larry Bell to sing "Nothing But Flowers" with you (and 101 strings). --eric ← That's funny !!
  11. Maybe this belongs in another topic.... Just asking
  12. How do we get Organissimo on Fresh Air? Or any NPR show for that matter??
  13. I drive a 2000 Saturn wagon. It gets 30 + mpg and there's plenty of room for my drumkit and even a sound system.. It is also a fairly low maintenance vehicle mechanically.
  14. That somehow doesn't surprise me.. The gig is only 4 weeks away.. They better get the advertising out soon!
  15. Oh man! .. A stick fumble frozen in time.. I'll never live it down.. ← Randy, even when you fumble, you score! That was an awesome take!!! Musical moments such as the stick fumble only make things more real. You da man!!! g ←
  16. Oh man! .. A stick fumble frozen in time.. I'll never live it down..
  17. What do you expect from the "Oil Administration" ? Bush chills at the ranch while prices just keep going up.... I have a Saturn wagon that gets 30 + mpg and I'm still burnin' up the petro!
  18. The last two episodes are what really make that series. There are several good episodes on the way to the last two, as well as a few sleepers. Overall, I think Danger Man was a better series. But I don't think I have a lot of company in that respect. ← I used to follow "The Prisoner" series religiously and loved it! Another great series from the UK was "Tales Of The Unexpected" by Roal Dahl. I have the first two box sets and am eagerly awaiting the third box set..
  19. Thanks for posting that Eric..
  20. You mean Mike Scott from WYCE??
  21. The cartoon like images of us are so bizarre! Joe looks 20 years older
  22. Vinnie Ruggierio? ← Danny D'Imperio, aka "Deep" ??
