  1. Yeah, sure, it sold out in the 1960's. But back then people only used the CDs as COASTERS, so it's hard to find a set now without those rings left by glass condensation or spill stains or scuff marks all over the CDs.
  2. Indeed. And "One Step Beyond."
  3. I know this is a '70's thread (so when did the official thread title ever stop me?), but all the supernatural/horror shows of the '70's pale by comparison to the "Zone" and the "Limits" of the late '50's/early '60's.
  4. And why the hell not???
  5. Jeff, Some of those Ibanez models list in the $400 range, meaning their street prices are probably close to the Agile Cool Cat. Would you still go with the Agile? And also, can you get me some macaroni and cheese??
  6. "Hey, where's Jeff with that tuna casserole???"
  7. Jeff's first guitar:
  8. Thanks, Jeff! They should pay you a commission on any sold to members of this Board.
  9. Jeff, Aside from the special Limited Edition Cat Shatner Model (which is too pricey for me, anyway), which model would you recommend for the best all-around jazz sound and fairly easy action (for a beginner)? The "Cool Cat" (which must be the model named for Cat Shatner when he's incognito)?
  10. Too late. I've already burned it from the site and have the CDR for sale on Ebay. [just kidding ]
  11. OF COURSE that's exactly how he signs it! You think these are FORGED or something???
  12. Amazing! Rondo Music is now showing THIS Limited Edition model on their site:
  13. Sweet, Jeff! Can I order a special autographed model? (only half joking)
  14. So, it would would seem that something weird's still going on. Hmmmm . . . I wonder how many Allen Lowe CDs are now appearing on the True Blue site?
  15. It did it for me too a couple of times, but then went back to normal. However, I did notice afterwards that a "Complete Allen Lowe Sessions" box (1 1/2 CDs for $900) was suddenly appearing in the "Last Chance" category. I hadn't realized that Allen is such an accomplished hacker.
  16. I clicked on that link and didn't see anything.
  17. NOW I have. Actually, Brad, although Lee recorded it, a little research on the net has just revealed that the song was written by the man I saw live last weekend, Benny Golson. Lucky you. Was he in Philly? Check out this thread.

  19. Hank? Chester? Oops, I meant to a la Lee, not a la Hank. To reiterate:
  20. That's very cool. I think the closest my mom got was MERCER Ellington's autograph--for real!
  21. You shouldn't be allowed to mention this again . . . . . . unless it's in connection with a RELEASE DATE. I think it's about a month away but it ain't in my hands.

  23. Is the snoring all muted? Only Harmon muted. And he stops snoring completely when Monk starts snoring.
  24. The "Never No Lament" CDs are the same remastering as in the Centennial box, according to what I've read.
