I wonder about that too. There were quite a few horrid games during the current World Cup, but I've also seen a lot of German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, Spanish La Liga and Premiership games (all these leagues are shown on Dutch TV) that were unbelievably bad...
Sorry, but I strongly disagree. I think Lampard is nothing more than a "good" player, who should indeed be grateful for the presence of Makelele. On an international level, against strong opponents I've never seen Lampard play as good as he does in the Premiership.
well, let all hope that France manages to reach the final instead of the Little Pisser and Figo and their crew.
Yep. Portugal are one of the most irritating teams I've seen lately. As for Mr Pisser, I never understood what Man Utd saw in him. I think he's a waste of time.
last time we had that was many moons ago. 1982?
Germany in 1990, France in 1998!
I mean all the final four teams being European
Just heard on Dutch TV that you're right, this is the first time since 1982 that we're having all-European semifinals.

Ah, I see. Sorry, don't know.
They will never ban guys like Ronaldo.
maybe we should send a petition to Blatter.
Blatter! He doesn't know anything about football, that's probably why he's president of FIFA.
Full time: France 1, Brazil 0.
Semifinals:
Tuesday, July 4, Dortmund
Germany - Italy
Wednesday, July 5, München (Munich)
France - Portugal
The new World Champions will be European.
Yes, that's one of Brazil's problems, their lines are not as fluent as they can and should be, they're static, leaving holes both up front and at the back.
Half time: France 0, Brazil 0; another crappy, defensive game...
I give up... What the f@#$ happened to attractive, inspired and attacking football?? What are these managers thinking? They should all be fired!
I'm now going to watch the grass grow, must be more exciting.
Hans, you are totally wrong: the English are terrible kickers.
They are, but you can't deny that the Portuguese goalkeeper's performance was excellent.
