  1. Saw something in the paper a couple of days back where Wal-Mart's actually throwing in the towel 'cause they can't make a proper go of it.
  2. Marcus, I have a fair number from both series and don't think there is anything different. To this list, you can add TKCV-35111 -- the mini-lp version of Richard Wyands "Lady of the Lavender Mist' and TKCV-35162, Eddie Higgins 'Dear Old Stockholm' mini-lp. I believe that the Bill Crow listing is also incorrect. TKCV-35109 is the Claude Williamson Trio 'South of the Border, West of the Sun' mini-lp.
  3. Fought your way down to 24?? Simply amazing!! Was there some sort of grueling, uberdisciplined, training regimen that helped prepare you for this? You must have been a Navy SEAL at some point in life?
  4. Really? Coincidentally, I received from Mr. Tanno the 'Blues Inside Out' title yesterday and enjoyed the first spin. First exposure to Pauer....guess I'll have to check out one of those non-"dim" ones.
  5. Showed up today! Daichi Trio! Venus never disappoints.

  8. I see that this is expected to drop next week...with 3 or 4 additional tracks no less. Where have these extras been hiding for so many years? Not on the xrcd or K2....perhaps an earlier cd version?
  9. No, he's talking about the Red Menace. -_-
  10. My motto, when working special projects for the feds, is that at 6:01 they can go pound sand. That's when the real work -- maintaining order and preventing the children from yanking one another's hair out over the exasperating issue of the moment -- begins.
  11. Can this thing be programmed to mix a dry martini 'round 6:30 every night?
  12. There was a photo of Plant in the Wash Post yesterday. Talk about a guy who looks drawn & beat. Not Iggy or Richards beat..........but beat.
  13. in front of the comma at the very far left of the screen. That's funny....used to wonder about that as well.
  14. All those times I was creeping around and you were wearing night vision goggles? Yes Ron, lucky for you I'm the benevolent sort. At any time the phantom stalker could have been....
  15. Now ain't that just like a Bushista, to bemoan the loss of a snoop op! ← ← Yep, a significant blow to the intelligence gathering program --- only the wiretaps and paid informants remain in place.
  16. Will they eat Reuben Wilson cds?
  17. This rots! Now we can't click on 'organissimo home' at the bottom and see who the annonymous people are who think that they're hiding.
  18. We'll all be dead & buried before BN re-issues this one........so it's time to spring into action! I'm not the seller....although I did buy his 'Infinity' TOCJ earlier in the week. Good service.
  19. If you went to boarding school w/them it's a different ball-o-wax and you enjoy getting together with the folks you dormed with. It tends to be a very tight, extended network.
  20. Robbie's? Haven't a clue. That a fishing charter co. or so?
  21. Hmm, now there's an idea. Better still, might be a good idea to hire Gould to drive us and we can sit back and listen to 'S' from his collection. All the Horace Silver. Assuming he's still doing the 'A-Z' thing.
  22. No need for me to dirty my nails......our guys own the 'box' companies and the software has already been pre-programmed, remember???? Guess yer again in '08. Wheel, if you're right about 836 W., I'll never say 'Cambridge' again. B-) Gracias.
  23. From the Miami airport (Midday weekday), what's the 'average' drive time 'bout halfway down the keys (Islamorada). 2 hrs? 3 hrs? Thank you.
