I was at one and my mind was blown too. Absolutely astonishing. I've been waiting for a Zim release since, bit disappointed it's Blu-ray but will probably buy download. I see that those nights are on this recording but I can't work out which they are from the BC page. When I do I'll buy them as each 'disc' is available separately

BBE are fond of stretching across 2LPs but the resultant sound does tend to be very good. That's a fine album

How is it? I saw Zim live and thought it was great but I'm unsure about this much. How varied are the pieces?

Yeah, I'm not convinced. It's all too easy to write whatever you need to appear bona fides. When discussion of reissuing this title has come up previously on this board I remember someone, possibly Clifford Thornton, saying the family were against it asking too much $ to do it Really not sure how it can be checked shirt of knowing contact details for the family.

One person's "blindly cancel" is another's "take a principled stand". Whatever it'll be their choice. He'll be able to self-release like so many other artists do these days and he was in the vanguard of when issuing digital music vert early on from his then website. Hardly the end of his recording career.

And that's it in a nutshell. The rest is irrelevant obfuscation at best and something a lot more pathetic at worst.

Some, yeah. Enough I'd hazard a guess who would see the Coleman scenario and say' 'no way, not me'. That Coleman isn't amongst that number doesn't really let him off the hook. He's intelligent, can think clearly as well as the next person.

Wow! I like that description too especially as last week I saw a drummer, Sarathy Korwar, play just like that with a alto and Bari/flute front line, keyboards not bass in this instance holding the rhythm. And sometimes, the saxes too with the drums as lead. Like Max.

Just finished 'The Dectectorists', all three series. Simply one of the best comedies from UK television in years. Beautifully observed, written and acted elevating the mundane to the heights it deserves. Yes, I liked it!
