  1. And what's THAT a code for?
  2. Told you. The links were for the GERMAN Universal site.
  3. Alternative: Elvis has just left the building.
  4. As long as I'm younger than these re-issues, I should be in the clear ... I hope.
  5. Hm, drew a blank so far. All I know is that the two series are to be published for Universal Jazz's 15th anniversary this year, whenever that might be. The links above show the covers at least. If I find anything else, I'll post it here. Edit: Oops: missed J.A.W.'s post above.
  6. At the moment I can only provide links to Universal's German newsletter page: Anniversary series: http://www.jazzecho.de/page_15537.jsp and Heritage series: http://www.jazzecho.de/page_15450.jsp I'll look for sth. in English. Cheers!
  7. Yeah, there have been glitches. Just ignore them. The functions work fine.
  8. Just so ubu and others don't get left out, I intend to finish the evening off with this (yep, I've got something to celebrate today) ... Cheers!
  9. Maren and couw ... I'm having a drink on you two as I write this: Cheers!

  11. Now open to the public: ...
  12. On second thought, many of them can't hold a candle.
  13. How did Steely Dan dissing work itself into this thread? That's what I'd like to know. Most musicians I know (yeah, I know what kind of comment that invites, but please spare me ) couldn't hold a candle to the members of Steely Dan. Not even a stump. Cheers!
  14. Buttermilk screws up my stomach. Majorly. Triple YUCK!
  15. Yeah, I was too lazy to click around there. Sorry. With people starving in Africa, the US loose around the globe and Norah Jones now taking the the first two spots on amazon.de's top sales list, I thought there were worse things that could happen to us than someone banning references to another jazz bulletin board. Man, was I ever wrong.
  16. Imagine Imagine there's no heaven, It's easy if you try, No hell below us, Above us only sky, Imagine all the people living for today... Imagine there's no countries, It isnt hard to do, Nothing to kill or die for, No religion too, Imagine all the people living life in peace... Imagine no possesions, I wonder if you can, No need for greed or hunger, A brotherhood of man, Imagine all the people Sharing all the world... You may say Im a dreamer, but Im not the only one, I hope some day you'll join us, And the world will live as one. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17. Today's birthday will only last 2 hours or so, but I'm back home and ready to rejuvenate in a more timely fashion. Cheers!
  18. Yeah, you know: "King for a thread," or something like that. No need to feel intimidated ... we're actually pretty nice guys (a pretty nice guy?). The book sounds, err. interesting. @couw: Thanks for obsessively posting those cake pics! @ubu: My French sucks, but I think I could figure out most of it (took me quite a while though). Cheers! (Note: I'm away for three days, so the birthday cycle might become erratic, but access provided, I will grow older, must grow older ...)
  19. Wrong preposition. Cheers!
  20. Yes, yes and triple YES! Cheers!
  21. Vacancy filled.
  22. Pity. Payment method and country exclude me. I would have loved to have the Brookmeyer. Cheers!
