  2. Albert Renger-Patzsch (lots of fascinating industrial photography):
  3. Atys naucum, by Alfred Erhardt (from the Wilde Collection):
  4. Bono, by Anton Corbijn:
  5. How about this one: BTW: What's buggin' me though is that after I bought myself two (!) Roland V-Drums kits, they update the whole range with this: [you need the latest Flash player for this] ... forget their video presentation ... it sucks. Judging from a video elsewhere on the net, this kit is a real killer ... stunning sounds, perfect response, as close to acoustic sounds as you can get (yeah, I know, but I live in an apartement and would also rather have a real acoustic set). The video: TD-20 (for Real player) So, I guess I have to shell out another $2000 - $3000 for the brain and a pad or two.
  6. Me too. Can't have that many gaseous consequences.
  7. Check this out: http://www.otheroom.com/namm/default.htm Lots of fun stuff. Cheers!
  8. You mean to say you're going to CHEAT on my birthday cakes? only as a last resort. tell you what: may camera is fixed and it looks like my ftp is up again as well, I'd sooner bake a cake and make a pic than cheat on you using photoshop. should I fear your wrath? How sweet of you. To go through all that trouble for me. makes me feel all warm and fuzzy ... and will make me buy something expensive for my birthday again. Another Mosaic, me thinks. Wrath? Naahhhhh.
  9. No, that's just as profane.
  10. You mean to say you're going to CHEAT on my birthday cakes?
  11. There is a story that goes with that screen name of mine, and I might tell it one day, but not now. couw and others ... there is a God-mode in that game, so you weren't all too far off, but, I'm sorry to say, the origin of my screen name is a bloody and violent ego-shooter blood-fest (at least the way I played it). "Dead-body-fu" as Joe Bob Briggs would have said. Cheers!
  12. The more candles those cakes are sprouting, the more likely it is for me to become a "hobby astronomer". Thanks for the cake(s)! Cheers!
  13. After your posts, I think we were expecting this but hoping it would not happen. How very sad. My sincere condolences, Tom.
  14. Zweitausendeins screwed that up. All 101 tracks are on this "Spiegel Edition" boxed set. Disc 01: 24 tracks Disc 02: 20 tracks Disc 03: 11 tracks Disc 04: 23 tracks Disc o5: 23 tracks Cheers!
  15. BTW: The "Spiegel Edition" is printed on the box and is not a sticker.
  16. Well, that's the one I bought. I'm quite happy with it, but I'd rather have the normal Mosaic jewel cases. In this "Spiegel Edition" which, by the way, has been available from the Spiegel Shop online for quite some time now (and has been advertised in their magazine since last year), the CDs are in cardboard sleeves which are inserted into slits in the inside front and back covers. I'll probably remove the CDs and put them into jewel cases. It's just a hassle with the covers and tracklists. The booklet (as tall as the box) has the (translated) German version only notes from the Mosaic set (complete, as far as I can tell). There is a single black info sheet affixed to the backcover of the package by a piece of round tape, giving some general info and listing Mosaic as the copyright holder (distributed by "Warner Strategic Marketing International". Finally it states "Made in Germany by Warner Music Manufacturing Europe" Image: front of the box (left), back of the box (center), front inside left (right) Cheers!
  17. Me too. Me too! I'll PM you my address. Cheers!
  18. Are the Metronome CDs also remasterd by those guys?
  19. Thanks for the info, Francois! There goes my hard-earned cash again. God, I HATE this board. Cheers!
