  5. Oops, Mike Fitzgerald beat me to it!
  6. Apart from VILCD 1004-2: Harry Edison Six: How long, how long blues, the only other release under a "Village" label with "similar" catalog number that I´ve found in Lord CD-Rom are: -VILCD 1002-2: Stefan Bauer Band: Coming home (1991) -VILCD 2001-2: Various artists: Berne, baby, Berne! International Jazzfestival Berne, various years (Louie Bellson, Modern Jazz Quartet, Oscar Peterson Trio, Sammy Price, Maxine Sullivan, Buddy Tate, Clark Terry, Trumpet Kings, Teddy Wilson) There are also some CDs of 20´s music under a Village (Germany) label with catalog numbers VILCD 0XX-2 (Wolverine Orchestra, Clarence Williams, Frank Teschemacher, Red Onion Jazz Babies...). No idea if these labels are one and the same.
  7. I´ve asked Roberto Barahona to see if he allows me to post some of his photos here. Looks like those appearing at his website, Puro Jazz, are not from this year´s festival.
  8. brownie: you´ll need to have a Yahoo account and probably to register to jazz_sp group.
  9. Just starting to listen to this set. My impressions so far: Sound´s OK and the music is good, but I´m with Joe: you can find better live recordings of this period: Pasadena, Hamilton... They should have included recording date. Well, obviously you can find it in any Ellington discography. -_- But of course, it´s very highly enjoyable music! (will I ever find a disappointing EKE disc?)
  10. 14 photos of Jazz Vision 2005 (Brötzmann, W. Parker, Fred Anderson...) available in the Pictures section of this Yahoo group: jazz_sp http://es.photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/ja...case.yahoo.com/ Guess you have to sign-up.

  15. ... And I´ll check the LPR "Kirk in Copenhagen" again tonight, but I´m afraid it does not give exact information. ← It only says "October 1963".
  16. Yes, I´ve got the TV broadcast from a collector. But I´d like to have the other three tracks. And the sound may be a little better in the Magnetic issue. Maybe. And I´ll check the LPR "Kirk in Copenhagen" again tonight, but I´m afraid it does not give exact information.
