What are the qualities you dislike the most?

So far we covered cheapness. I guess we can call it one of the facets of dishonesty. An example - my friend got a juicy kick-back from a lawyer whom he referred me to after I got into a nasty car accident some years ago. I found out about it much later. The friend never said anything, like "let's split it, because I know you're not working now, being hurt and all" or something like that. I was very upset when I found out, to put it mildly. -

That used to piss me off something awful when well-off yuppies would stiff me on $10 at the dinner table, on a regular basis. Guess what - we don't hang any more and I don't feel bad one bit. $10 or $20, or even $100 is a small price to pay for weeding out a$$holes. -

You got that right !!! That's what I called cheapness in my 1st post. This sort of thing happened to me numerous times. Basically I really HATE being the one who pays the bill. It's like no matter how much is put into the pot I always have to add some, either people don't leave the tips or just figure the one who pays is gonna cover them. Some make it a habit [like the guy on Larry David who used to run to the bathroom every time the waiter brought a check]. -
I have no reason to doubt you. Just rememember, somewhere in a distant Siberian village there's a family waiting for the resolution of our wager. But seriously, I don't think Feech is coming back. I'd be surprised if he did... What's more interesting for me is how Buschemi's character going to play out. Massages are funny, but not for long. They got to show us the real goods now.

Dishonesty and cheapness are two qualities I don't value very much. I don't know which is worse.

Things To Do In New York

I live in Brooklyn, and obviously been in line for pizza at Patsy's many a times. Who said it's not great! In Staten Island, awesome pizza is to be had at the venerable Denino's Pizzeria Tavern on Port Richmond Ave. Also Nunzio's, on Hylan Blvd. The decor is nothing to write home about[unlike Denino's], but pizza is very very good. -
If this is the same person who complained to B3-er about one of his/her photos being used as my avatar, you might want to get rid of the pictures you pasted. Stat.

Don't worry bout it. Yeah, Feech's nephew is gonna come with a chain saw and get him out of Sing Sing.

Obviously I was facetious with "uncivil". Have you been to the less urban sections od the Island [thank god there are still many]? If you have explored the historic St. George and Richmond Town on foot, if you saw the Victorian homes in Tottenville, had the best Italian food in town, took a bike ride through the amazing Clay Pit Ponds, chilled out on the cleanest and best beaches in New York, and having done that you'd call it "lots of strip malls and (mostly) trashy looking houses" then I'd have no arguement with your statement. Have you? Meadowfair Snug Harbor Garibaldi lived here Willowbrook Park Richmond Town Museum of Tibetan Art Wolfe's Pond These are just snapshots, pebbles of what Staten Island really is. -

In short - you are misiniformed ... Longer version would be less civil. -
I didn't realize my post would somehow mislead anyone about Draper's ability on his instrument. Re: self-taught. I remember reading that Draper attended the Manhattan School. But even if he didn't..I don't know how he'd spoiled the instrument's rep..he was just another tubaist, there were players before and after him. Sure, guys like Howard Johnson, Andy Seligson, Bob Stewart, all had something on Draper, but I bet that any one of them would kill to cut a record or two with Trane. -_-

Revenant is planning big Albert Ayler box

Let's make it 4-even. Perhaps one of the coming Soprano episodes will touch upon Ayler's disappearance.. -

LaManna is going down. The bet was not as to whether or not he went down, that's a foregone conclusion, it was whether or not he would make a move on Tony before he did. Whatsamatta, getting nervous? I might be persuaded to up the ante just a little bit, cause I don't think that treefitty's gonna cover the shipping on this badboy, and every penny counts! Make me an offer, Revenant boy. -

Some of you guys run your own websites. What's a trustworthy place to register a domain name? Crooks galore in that business, as I just learned. Where did you register yours?

Pertaining to both music and visual arts of the 20th century, are these terms exchangeable or distinct?

Reading through the gory stories of dead deer and totalled cars made me wonder how the insurance companies approach these kinds of accidents?

Whitney is on Madison, not 5th. But the Jewish Museum is, and so is the Goethe Institut which I only recently discovered for myself. -
