  19. Right - I see Larry, the record you were talking about was 'Sonny Stitt' by Sonny Stitt - Argo 629, not 'Burnin'' - this one, apparently That's been reissued by Fresh Sound under the title 'Burnin'' - like this That CD contains 'Sonny Stitt' and 'Burnin'' - which looks like this Pity Fresh Sound didn't use the 'Burnin'' sleeve. MG
  20. I have the orig of 'Burnin'' and it isn't how you describe it, Larry. Lunchtime now... MG
  21. It did on the LPs; well, it gave the Prestige address, which is all I think any of the other labels did. I believe Tru-sound was Ozzie Cadena's idea. He produced the two Rhoda Scott LPs and all (I think) of the Gospel series. Dunno about the Latin series. Here's a link to the Tru-sound discography http://www.bsnpubs.com/new/trusound.pdf MG
  22. I've got it on CD - issued on CD in Germany by Bellaphon. Nice album. I've got quite a lot by A Ibrahim. I like all of it. Somehow, though, after a couple of years, I don't seem to have the energy to listen to them. 'Water from an ancient well' is an exception. Maybe the one with Buddy Tate will be an exception too, but I only got it in March. MG
