Interesting. I always go running in the late evening, after the sun drops below the horizon. I'm not a morning person. After dealing with the activities of the day, I find it very relaxing to be out under cover of the night. Part of my reason for running at night is that I live in Tucson. Unless you start your day at 5AM it's just too damned HOT to be doing much till after, say, 8:00PM. I do enjoy the night time so I continue my night running even through the winter months. And... Uhhh... did I mention I'm not a morning person?

I haven't used GMail, so, not sure if it's worth using or not. I'm not trying to take away from anything that Big Wheel has to offer. However, as an alternative, you may go to Walla Mail and get a 1Gig email account that doesn't require an invitation, if you like. Walla

I have a friend who is 95 years old. We play on a bocce team once a week. The guy really doesn't seem 'that' old. Yeah, I know he's old but, he doesn't seem any older, to me, than, say, a 60 or a 70 year old. My feelings about Lester Young are that he lived a LONG time ago and would be VERY old today. Then I think of my 95 year old friend and it puts Lester Young's life into a more realistic perspective.

I have a job that, while it's not a 'bad job... And, is a 'good' company, keeps me under-employed. I don't use my education. I don't make as much money as what my educational potential would dictate. However, my life is good. I chose to stay with 'my' people and not chase the career/job/money thing. As I grow older, I'm realizing that all we really have in this world is each other. I'm glad to have my family near me. I'm glad I decided to hang around. I live within only a few miles of my parents, my sister, her husband, and my nephews. I have a 'special' female friend who moved here to be a part of my life and the family that goes with it. Again, go where your family is.

I'm 38 years old. Since graduating from college I've never lived far from my parent's house. I purchased a home just two miles from where my parent's live. I've always been glad to have them around and in my life. They are two of my best friends and always 'there' for me if needed. I say... go where your family is. Especially if you plan to have kids. My Dad's job took he, my Mom, my sister and I away from our extended family. I liked my grandparents but never really 'knew' them. We always lived too far away. Give your kids and your parents a chance to know each other. Jobs come and go. Careers change. Money may be plentiful or may not be. You have only one family. Don't miss 'your' people.

I'm not a person who is overweight. However, I have caught myself, lately, weighing more than 'I' want to. I had the little hint from my Levi's fitting a bit tighter than they used to. Yeah, Levi's do shrink some, as they age, but... not as much as mine have. I'm a 'runner.' However, I quit running about nine months ago... just got tired of it. Shit happens, I guess. My body & mind started talking to me, about three weeks ago, and I'm back on the road to growing my leg muscles and lung capacity. I'm ticked at myself for forgetting how much I used to enjoy exercise and being in better physical condition. How could I forget? After a good run, food tastes better, music sounds crisper & deeper, books hold more meaning, and living is more enjoyable. I'm looking forward to increasing my running mileage back to where it used to be (no matter how slow the process might seem!). When I'm exercising on a regular basis, I find it's easier to do the exercise than to avoid it.

The version of Angel Eyes, with Carmell Jones and Tricky Lofton, kills me every time. I must start life anew and learn everything all over again each time this song finds its end.

Well... ahhh... errr... not for the computer.

But, who knows where the pop went once inside the computer? I mean, the keyboard, the motherboard, memory, the hard drive, other drives? The sugar/water mess could have gone anywhere in there. My Dad's homeowner's insurance covered his computer.

My Dad poured a glass of wine into his laptop computer. It died after about four hours. He had to send the computer back to Sony to have the motherboard replaced. Good luck.
