I respect you Jazz Kat for sticking up for your favorite band but you have to realize that there is the possibility not everyone shares your point of view on Spyrogyra or whatever band you like. If you really like a certain artist then like them and don't worry too much about anyone elses's opinion but on the other hand don't get so bent out of shape when someone expresses a viewpoint that is contrary to your own.

I saw him play on Dave Sanborn's show. I don't remember him sitting down while I he was playing guitar but I do remember him playing that guitar behind his back and with his feet and I thought that was fairly impressive. He's a good guitar player. I'll have to look into his jazz album. While I don't think he can do the same acrobatics with his trumpet,who knows,it might be worth checking out.

That's an interesting lineup. Off the track somewhat but one thing that cd universe does that drives me nuts is to describe the bass as a "bass Instrument".

I would hardly characterize myself as a beer snob but those nasty ass Bud hangovers got pretty tiresome so I stopped drinking it.

From one who knows divorce can jumble up things but back to the buisness at hand. What is the difference in tone between the plastic and non plastic alto and which do you prefer?
