I remember that. That's impressive being so fucked up that he could barely handle it and still pitching a no hitter. Jerry May was probably pretty used to how Dock handled things but I can't help but wonder what kind of challenges this presented to May in how he called the game behind the plate. BTW the Padres were pretty sad at the time and that couldn't have helped their self esteem any.
I saw the group with Miles,Gary Bartz,Keith Jarrett,Michael Henderson,Jack DeJohnette and Airto and I really enjoyed hearing them play. I'm really looking forward to the cellar door set.
RT I would love to ignore something like that but considering that I work at a radio station that is a CNN news affiliate,it's difficult at best to do this.
The prosecution's case had more holes in it than a piece of swiss cheese but I can't help but think that any parent with a brain intheir head won't let their kid get to near to Jacko.

Although it isn't jazz the first Paul Butterfield album. It was suggested on the record that it be played at the highest possible volume. Trust me I did. Also Butterfield's "East-West".
These are just a few that come to mind.
I do sports play by play and I'm expected to keep my composure during a game no matter what but I don't think I could have held it together for that one. A great story!!!!
RT I know how it is. I have those days where I just want to lay in bed all day and stare at the ceiling. There are days where I really cant find joy in anything and I get stuck in the real big empty and everything seems really screwed up. Somedays it's all I can do to go to work but I do show up every day and that's half the battle.
Give some thought to your next challenge and if that doesn't come to you right away just keep putting one foot in front of another and sooner or later things should sort themselves out for you. I'll be thinking good thoughts for you amigo.
I've just made my first visit to this site-good god!!!!! It appears to me the vast majority of the OJC's have the dreaded "special order" designation. Is it not to far off base to think this another way of saying-they're good as gone?
I also checked out the Blue Note site on J&R and are all those cd's still in print or are they just funnin' with old Chris?
