They are playing like shit. I didn't know Rip has been out. Of course, the Pistons have had three games in four days whereas the 76ers haven't played since Saturday. But still, the Pistons are playing like shit.

Ann Arbor is a great city, but as others have noted, the cost of living is very high. Of course, I do not know how it compares to Philly. For what it's worth, my wife went to art school in Philly and she loved the town. She keeps saying she wants to take me there soon. I lived in Ann Arbor for 2 years and I enjoyed every minute of it. But the cost of living eventually got me.

chucky, I didn't know about you "dropping the ball" so to speak, but thanks for checking in and giving us an update! I hope everything is going well or at least better.

It's got to be expensive to run that site. A lot of information on there and very well programmed. For us working musicians, it's a great resource. With a click of a button you can get a huge list of clubs, festivals, and radio stations from all over the country. Give 'em a little bread if you can!

Not to hijack, but...is this true? I've been running my Fender P-bass through a Fender Sidekick amp for quite a while with (I thought) no problems. Something I should be concerned about? Well, most guitar amp speakers are not designed to handle real low frequencies. As long as you don't turn it up all the way, you should be fine!

It should work. Keyboard amps are usually full range, so she may need to roll off a little of the high-end, but it should not damage the amp. The only issue you might run into is whether the preamp has enough gain for a bass guitar. A signal directly from the bass guitar is much lower than a signal from a keyboard. But it doesn't hurt to try it!

Oh, I know! I'm not going to push her. But she LOVES music, loves sitting with me at the organ, loves the piano, loves rhythm, loves dancing and she's only 11 months! It's pretty obvious that music is going to be a part of her life in one way or another.

Ah, but speaking before knowing is the sign of a fool, young grasshopper! -_-

And if you keep making huge assumptions in life, then you're not going to get very far.
