Actually, my last post didn't get an error message at all! WOOT! Things are being fixed as I type! Thanks again everyone for your patience. I know this is el-stinko but these things happen.

Some member(s) have subscribed to this thread, which means if you reply to it, the software attempts to send an email to the subscribers letting them know a new post has been added. Since the email system is still funky, you'll get an error message. Your post does get added.

The server had a harddrive failure last night. Obviously some pieces are still missing. Good ol' server-guy Ken is hard at work on the problem. We'll get this thing back to normal soon, I promise. Thanks for your patience.

Fixed... for now... I'll contact my server admin about it.

Moose moose... Sangry, how I wish I could afford a real Neumann U-47. Or even a modern replicant (like the Soundelux series). I've read that the EV RE-20's are good for both stage and studio. I may pick one up. And I've read the MD421's are nice, too. I just bought a Shure 330 off ebay for $234. It's a ribbon mic and ribbons are supposed to record saxes very well. If it doesn't work on sax, it's supposed to be one helluva guitar amp mic so... I may just pick up an RE20 just because...

Hell no, dude... it's funky! It's supposed to be that way. Kind of like Jimmy Smith playing a B in "Got My Mojo Working" in the chords over the C7 (the four chord). It's FUNKY!

I'm looking for a good studio mic for saxophones. Anybody here have experience? One that the engineer used on your? One you've used on the saxophonist? Any help appreciated.

I read my sisters comics, mainly Superman and Batman. That was about it for me. My dad said he had a copy of Superman 1 as a kid along with about every other first edition comic that would be priceless nowadays. His mom threw them out when he went into the army.
