  1. So who wants 10,000 posts? I can just do a quick change in the admin screen and voila, you'll be leader of the pack. Should I put it up on Ebay? Starting bid, $10 for 10,000 posts!
  2. 1. Lonnie Smith -- Finger Lickin' Good (original pressing) . . . LP . . . $14.99 (Item: 3456) Columbia, Mid-60's Condition: Good View Cart A monster batch of funky tracks from organist Lonnie Smith! The album's his first ever -- and predates the Blue Note sides by a few years -- issued by Columbia around the time that Lonnie was working for the label as George Benson's organist. Lonnie brings a rawness to the album that you're not likely to hear on a Columbia session from the time -- and he's joined by soul jazz heavyweights like George Benson, Blue Mitchell, Melvin Sparks, and King Curtis. Tracks are short with a hard wailing organ jazz groove -- and titles include "Hola Muneca", "Minor Chant", "Sideman", "Say Stuff", and "Keep Talkin". (Red label 60s mono pressing.) (From the Jazz LP (T-Z and Various) page.)

  6. The best part about Invision Power Board is that it's FREE! If you want tech support from the company you pay, but otherwise it's free. Pretty cool.
  7. It will be in version 2.0 of the software which was supposed to come out last month but has been delayed. Hopefully it'll be out soon.
  8. I did not close the thread, but I can see why it was. Like I said, The Groper and Deep's IP addressess are completely different and resolve to different places.

  12. Hmm... that google blog site might work for my idea of creating a seperate site that people can go to in order to find information about this site/the server/etc.
  13. blog is short for a web-log (weblog)... They're all the rage. Anybody can set one up. You basically expound on whatever you want... an online diary, if you will.
  14. I've got the perfect name for it: The Dildy-Blog

  18. Wow. Something tells me they won't print that interview in Rolling Stone. I sometimes wonder why I do it too, but I still have the love and drive to play... plus my brothers in the trio make every gig fun. But what he says about the music business is totally true. It's very sad.
  19. And for those that might not realize... that track is just Billy on organ and an un-named drummer. Kick those pedals, Billy!!!
  20. Yeah, and dig his registrations on the organ. He can make the organ talk. I wish I could see what setings he's using...
  21. Motorized bar-stools...
