  1. ss1 getting paranoid about his Browns so early. Should tell your team to go pick up some of those good free agent linebackers still available. Savage is a great drafter; does he work the free agent market as well? or is it that the Browns are cap heavy after cutting all their dead wood loose over the offseason?
  2. Apparently not. "Understanding" has been offered to Late... Waiting for ss1 money order for "The Way I feel." :rsmile:
  3. It's yours if you want it. I'm the one who should be asking this question...
  4. Everything gone. Just waiting for payment for "Understanding."
  5. Sometimes it's the elderly who fall for this stuff. I work with seniors on a daily basis at the bank, and many of them are in various stages of dotage. They have enough mental wherewithal to get through most of the day, but they are not considered bad enough to warrant permanent stay in a hospice or nursing home. I believe that they might fall prey to this kind of stuff.
  6. Prices include postage to US addresses. "Understanding" $10 "The Way I feel" TOCJ w/obi $13 "Oh Baby!" JRVG w/obi $15 paypal best.
  7. This pretty much matches my own philosophy. I don't keep burned cds. I have only original material of which perhaps 60% was purchased secondhand. I don't buy original material to put money into the artist's pocket. That would be nice and altruistic, but I don't do it for that reason. I do it, because I like the overall package and feelings of legitimacy. Wes (at 10 burns) has more than I!
  8. I just bought Woody Shaw Live Vol 4 today at Borders, but my discount was only 10%. CDs are electronics? I guess...
  9. I'd go as light as possible. Things are cumbersome and you're about to hit the road.
  10. $13 shipping included to US addresses. A little extra for outside US. can pay by peepal.
  11. Not me. It's much more fun and interesting to discuss what constitutes musical genius...
  12. I've never smoked but my father did and quit cold turkey one day in his 40s. I've really enjoyed reading everyone's suggestions. We've got a lot of smart and experienced people on this board. The part about being 100% committed really rings a bell. I think it applies to taking on any difficult project. There must be no back door. Forward only! Right now, I'm committing myself to an exercise program. I'm tired of taking on middle age lard! There is no looking back! Onward!!! Good luck, JazzyP, and keep us updated!
  13. I enjoy tons of Groove. Don't know how many of his cds I own, but it's gotta be close to 20. One of my favorites for sure.
  14. so paul, what did ya get? Nothing on that visit, but I did buy Woody Shaw, "Song of Songs" recently from the Bastards. Been buying more on half.com. Still a great resource.
  15. To a friend... Happy Birthday, Joe!
  16. I'm heading over to Dusty's... (bastards!)
  17. I believe I could tell a Blue Mitchell solo when I hear it. He swings. I call him the "Grant Green of the trumpet!" Junior Cook is harder to identify. He sounds like Joe Henderson. Love em both of course!
