Circuit City. (nice, no rebates) Also got Merle's LIKE NEVER BEFORE for $10.
-
Of the 2 bonus tracks, 1 of the tracks is on the TV soundtrack CD Crossing Jordan. So really, there is only 1 track that hasn't been issued on CD.

Got a 13" color TV / DVD combo for $100. Now I can play CDs/DVDs in the kitchen

If you like country music? I'd recommend the Buck Owens and Hank Thompson Christmas CDs on Sundazed. Re-issues of the Capitol albums. The Hank Thompson IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME was just re-issued this year! They both have a nice sense of humor.

For you that don't get this offer.... Does anyone know if each CD can be sent to a different address as gift? The website appears to make this feature available, but I haven't tried it. If you can send the CDs to different names/addresses, then if someone wants to buy something, just PAYPAL me and I can order it for you. Tjazz, it's no more difficult having the CD sent to a gift recipient than it is to have it sent to yourself. Before you click on the final BUY button, it lists the recipients of each CD and asks you if the list is correct. No extra shipping charges ??? (when sending as a gift?) If so, if anyone wants to get in on the 2/3 off sale with no shipping charges. PM me.

Costco has this box for $50

If you check the Tower site; http://www.towerrecords.com/Video/Default....=41&to_index=50 The music dvds that are priced at $9.99 will be sold for $8 during the sale. Be sure to watch the clerk, when I bought a DVD, he rang it up at $9.99. I mentioned it was supposed to be priced at $8. (he corrected it) Some of the same DVDs can be purchased from Deepdiscountdvd.com with the 20% off coupon (DVDTALK) for less than the Tower price. (considering your local taxes too)

Shelby Lynne? You must have meant I AM SHELBY LYNNE. I got the CD from BMG club too. The sound is raw, but I thought that was what she wanted????? Playing the CD now, sounds OK to me. Just another style for her. I'll check the sound on another CD at a used store next time I see it. (found an extra Cd of I AM SHELBY LYNNE without the BMG marking - no difference in sound) I'm a big Shelby Lynne fan.

About 50 music DVDs will be on sale for $8. They were priced on sale for $10 recently. Costco had some for $9. I go today and look. I think the CDs that are priced at $6 can be purchased thru BMG club (membership deals for about $4 +) Miles Davis - KIND OF BLUE

J.J. Inc was re-issued on CD by Columbia (USA).

Ya gotta get DSL or cable. -
It's like another Beatle Anthology disc. Lennon and Harrison are gone, so only half of the Beatles have any say about the album. I bought it anyway.

Michael Jackson arrest warrant
Tjazz replied to slide_advantage_redoux's topic in Miscellaneous - Non-Political
Michael's got money to burn. He'll do as he pleases. He likes kids and he likes to have sleepovers. There will always be people who want some of his money. -
I just got a 2/3 off and no shipping charges for totals over $30. Phil Woods came without BMG labeling. The Herbie CLEAR box doesn't have BMG labeling.

If you have the space and still use a turntable, keep the LP. If you no longer play LPs, sell them. (so someone else can listen to them)

Isn't that called a CD-R?

Does anyone have the BEAR box set? I'm somewhat interested in it. B)

Got the info: Track List DISC 1 1. Get Back 2:34 2. Dig a Pony 3:38 3. For You Blue 2:27 4. The Long and Winding Road 3:34 5. Two of Us 3:21 6. I've Got a Feeling 3:30 7. One After 909 2:44 8. Don't Let Me Down 3:18 9. I Me Mine 2:21 10. Across the Universe 3:38 11. Let It Be 3:55 DISC 2 1. Fly On the Wall 21:58 [The bonus disc, "Fly on the Wall," contains 20-plus minutes of excerpts from the countless hours of tapes from the Get Back Sessions. No song is heard in its entirity -- most are heard in shambolic snippets of 30 seconds or less -- and even if the fidelity is considerably cleaner than that on the monumental (and monumentally boring) nine-disc Get Back Journals, it's still hard to make out the conversations on this disc, and even hardcore Beatles fans will likely tune out this disc after a few minutes. It would have been better if this set was released with a disc devoted to Let It Be... Naked and a disc devoted to the original Get Back, but that's a pipe dream.] Stephen Thomas Erlewine FROM AMG
