Just heard that a DVD box of 5, will be released of Saturday Night Live music. Sounds interesting to me. DeepdiscountDVD.com has it listed for $41.05 Costco $39.99 Another website says that it contains 6 1/2 hours of music. There 50 tracks - guess 10 songs per/disc. There's probably some filler/interviews too. I'm looking forward to it.

What happened to the other tracks? BROADSIDE WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR LADY DAY THE BLESSING PASSION DANCE The DVD appears to combine the VHS/Laserdiscs videos of ONE NIGHT WITH BLUE NOTE vol. 1 & 2, but leaves a few tracks off. Course, it does add some other tracks that weren't on the previous videos. It would be about 2 hours and should fit on a single DVD. I'll buy it for about $15. Deepdiscountdvd.com

You miss the hunt? You miss drooling? I'm amazed that these long OOP albums are on CD and available to hear/buy. Some of the re-issues even made it to LP format too. Course, some of the covers had an imagined sound better than the album.
