I've been in the 4th & BWay Tower at least once a week every day since early 2000 (it's very near my apartment). There is no way in hell they have been making their rent (probably around $75,000/month) the last few years. In the late 90s, there was always a line at the checkout counter. The last few years, there have been an average of about 10 people shopping in the store when I go in. Yep. The last few times I was there, I think I was the only person wandering around the Classical and Jazz depts.

It's about time I started marketing my DVD unwinder.

Since I live in Jersey, 10% isn't enough for me to power up the car and pay $6 tunnel toll and gas$ to shop at Tower. Besides that, there's lot they just don't carry anymore.

You have to unplug it for a minute or so. It's Comcasts first reaction to any connection problem. It's been a while since I did it.

yr a Mode man, Rotasi? why haven't we met before, hmmmmmm... Wouldn't it make more sense to get 'em direct? I have a bunch of Mode recordings, mostly of the Xenakis, Feldman, Cage, NewBand type. I already miss the old Tower, when it was so well stocked. Those were the days.

btw, I am assuming all went well with your procedure??? This happened about 25 years ago, I had a gangular cyst like in the photo below. There's a 2 inch scar now, and a bit of scar tissue but it doesn't affect my guitar playing.

all the best with your operation. I had a cyst removed from my fretting hand when I was 22 or 23. the gtr looks like fun, I should get my Epiphone Joe Pass fixed up so I don't make an impulse purchase with a Stromberg.
