    When I first heard him (his first album) I didn't know he was a coke head. Wrote him him off right away. I should check out some of his other stuff. Time for youtube, I guess.

    I like how the mike picks up every little snap of his pick against the pick guard. Whatta pro. Doesn't miss a beat here either He was so powerful as a player. Amazing! I always thought he was too hyper like he was wound up on drugs. And I'm a big Johnny Winter fan, I just thought something was wrong. Not trying to start a flame war, just my opinion. Of course I should check out more of his work instead of dealing heavy handed blows to SRV like he's doing to that poor 12 string.

    Took me a while too. I didn't know who he was until years later. What I do remember was thinking that Page/Beck must have listened to a lot ot rockabilly.
