  1. Yez...bunnys!
  2. Good for you. And remember: it's cheap!
  3. The workmanship is very nice, especially for only $250. The ends of the frets are indeed finished and beveled down. The one I got had a couple of little blemishes in one place on the neck binding (I have a photo of them if you're interested), but they're taking it back and sending me a new one (with their apologies for the problem). Other than that, the guitar feels very solid, and is finished beautifully. It compares very well with Ibanez Artcores and Epiphones that cost up to twice as much. You should head up to Union and check it out if you want to see it in person. But be aware that they told me they don't have many left and won't be getting more in until the summer. I asked because when I was there on Saturday trying basses, my buddy was whining 'bout the ends of the frets on them. I might swing by there later this week, even though the Epiphone is supposed to keep me from doing that.

  10. Nice! I have some others I can scan later this week.
  11. We're all around here somewhere.
  12. I remember that from when I saw him with Sun Ra. I should go to Saturdays show.
  13. Not into a 345. What, or else you'd be snapping this bad boy up? Dude, are you somewhere in the 'hood here? You said something about driving an hour UP to Teaneck. Actually, I think it's closer to 45 min. I jump on the Turnpike and bam! I'm in Central Jersey about 30 from the Holland Tunnel.

  16. Sorry 'bout the GAS....you were warning me about the Korean vs. the USA ASATs. Anything specific?
  17. That's a really good price. I was really bummed that I missed out on those guitars. I hear they sound really good. I wonder what it sounds like. I'm tempted to drive up there and check it out. I remember reading those G&L pickups on it are wound a little bit hotter than the normal ones. If it's not too far from you, I'd check it out. I heard those mahogany bodies sound really good with the G&L pickups. Damn! Now you've given me G.A.S. and there's no way for me to do anything about it. It's an hour. Maybe in the morning...
  18. I think the ASAT GAS is back.

  21. I would say keep enjoying and practicing music, but don't bag school. I was by no means a great student, but by maintaining decent grades I was able to have more options when it was time to choose a college music program. I don't know if you're planning on going on to college, but don't write it off just yet. Keep your options open. I'm not saying you need to go to college to become a successful musician, but for me it was good preparation for what was happening "out there". So hang in there with the whole school thing! Yeah I want to go to a music college. That's probaly where you meet most other musicians your age and at your level. Be sure to take the business courses!
  22. Looks interesting, but my Epiphone is a beater.
  23. You should also check the eq. reviews by manufacturer at Harmony Central. http://www.harmony-central.com/Guitar/Data...ley-Kat-01.html Keeping in mind, you never know how much experience the reviewer has.
