  1. Streaker in Seattle? WHOAH! Let's bring back Morganna while we're at it!
  2. Really wierd, though, I can't find a front cover scan, or a definitive return for "Jazz Goes To College" "Legacy Edition"....
  3. No longer in print as a domestic? Wow, that really didn't last very long, did it.... Did it have liner notes, the American release?

  5. In the meantime.... What a difference a less than 24 hour day makes. Rangers go gonzo at the plate (Nellie Cruz, 3-4, fingers crossed that this signals the end of the pain), every starter scores at least one run, back-to-back-to-back homers from the bottom of the order (Endy Chavez?!?!?!?!) the defense looks razor sharp, save for a rare gaffe by Beltre, and 3 solid relief innings (after an "oh shit, here we go again" start) from 35 year-old newcomer Yoshinori Tateyama, whose 70 MPH pitches moved like Bekins. Crazy game, baseball, every day's a new day. Tomorrow is Ogando, who's due for an off game eventually...just not tomorrow, please. Friday nut was a kick to the nuts by a steel-toed jackhammer, and it's still a little tender down there. But either way, kudos to the Royals, who look to be developing into one tough, young crew. Just do it elsewhere!

  7. Yeah, I'm hip to that, & have bought from them with a clear conscience, will still continue to do so. This just seems really weird, though, releasing a show that's already been released commercially & still remains available. Oh, well, these days, who knows what the legalities are? It's a changing landscape, to be sure.
  8. Three consecutive home runs by the Rangers against the Royals on a Fox national/regional telecast that's using the Royals' play-by-play man & the Rangers' analyst. Talk about a study in contrast!
  9. Thanks. My copy is entirely in Japanese, so I wouldn't be able to tell Stan Tonkel from Willie Wonka... Which raises the question...is different source tapes a possible loophole for WV? Surely not...

I saw her live once, in DC, 1981. Transcendent is exactly what it was. Plus, I had a seat slightly behind the bandstand, so I saw those looks she was using to conduct the band as she went along, to get them to where she already was. Scared me more than half to death. No slights about BC from me, no sir. The woman was bullshit-free as far as I'm concerned.
  12. Did Columbia record the show themselves, have a crew in?
  13. What are the physics here? Let's leave "sound" out of it, what is traveling through the wire, and what can "go wrong" with the quality of the wire to make a difference? Seems to me that if I get better performance (i.e. - stronger, more consistent delivery of current) out of my weedeater using a heavy-gauge outdoor utility cord than I do using an indoor extension cord, then there could possibly be some kind of parallel for audio cables, no?
  14. Not a whole big lot of money...maybe sometimes at some point for me, then. Sounds like a worthwhile purchase.
  15. How much does a gadget like that run for these days?
