  1. Here comes Eric.... There went Eric... So Long, Eric. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rkGStgRfuxI
  2. Save it sister, save it for an Amazon review.
  3. Ronald Reagan is dead...and never wrote an amazon review. Ho 'bout some Lee Dorsey? Lee Dorsey say he'll write any damn thing he wants to when he writs an amazon review, and oh by the way, Lee Dorsey LOVE him some Warne Marsh and Lee Dorsey WILLl shoot a chump right up in the kneebone who wants to try to stop him from saying so. Don't fuck with Lee Dorsey's Amazon reviews, not if you want to walk and live at the same time.
  4. Pick the card that you wish to be the color of the last sky you will breathe to see. And then have your survivors post their review on Amazon.
  5. Do what works, if you can do it without lying.
  6. Wow...yet again a Rangers pitcher gets in a zone, then suddenly and totally loses it. To night it was CJ WIlson, two walks and a homer, all with two outs. To Mr. Wilson's credit he came right back and threw splendidly for the duration until the bullpen came in and took an immediate and massive STANKY shit over what was still a winnable game. (and fuck that bullpen, at least those of those prone to doing it, they dishonor all who play with honor)...how does this work, this total vacating of the pitcher's skill just long enough to do damage, and then, BAMMOP, it pops right back in again and takes up like nothing happened. How the HELL does that mess work? No matter, Trevor Cahill pitched a bitch of a game tonight for the As. But it wasn't the one-sided asswhoopin' that the final will ook like, That's on the pen of bullshit. Check the pitching lines...
  7. If a jury finds me guilty of telling the truth when asked by a friend, hey - fuck the jury. Some y'all acting like there's "rules" to this shit. There ain't, other than one's own code of honor. I guess it's unethical to be honest in support of something you believe in. Nah, it's not unethical, What's unethical is to sit around all whinybitched and do nothing to counter it. Punks. I can sleep very well telling the truth, wake up in the middle of the night to shoot some fool trying to twink in, and then go right back to sleep.Especially now that I got my CPAP. Ethical cowards. There's the type of people you want off your property before they even set foot on it.
  8. The negative review seemed entirely/exclusively focused on the bass player in every regard, and how the man's sheer existence ruined the record. Not my favorite bass playing on any Warne record, but the guy don't suck, and he doesn't ruin - or really even factor into - what is ultimately a spectacular recorded document of on of jazz' truly great players. Sure seemed to me that the review was fixated on the bass playing to a degree far beyond anything rational, both in terms of the bassist's performance and its impact on the record. There's a time to call bullshit, and this was one of those times.
  9. Then Aric's supposition proves accurate!
  10. Anybody know the actual recording order?
  11. The man's imprint is significant, and huge. RIP.
  12. Since the article itself is a vinyl issue but the commentary is focused on the music itself, I believe that this one is rightly palced. Not all of them are, necessarily, but this one is.
  13. Forget it, Jake. It's the internet.
  14. I'm thinking that the only thing better that not getting dressed for work is not getting dressed at all. What a joy it will someday be able to stay home all day naked. Or a least draped only in hand-sewn silk robes with built-in holsters for my .45s. Because when your naked at home, you gotta be ready for surprises.
  15. Bad Bad Leroy Brown Jim Ed Brown Mister Di-nee-mite, JAAaaaAAAAAMES BROWWWWWNNNN!!!!!
  16. I'm somewhat cautiously optimistic that Mr. Eppley will respect Mr. Soriano's seniority and honor Mr. Soriano's reservation.

  19. No, it makes him Bin-Laden! At least this time - the kid's been doing quite well otherwise. Another learning experience, hopefully, for another of the young arms that've been getting lots of them this season. And about Bush (the pitcher) those 2 ERs in 4 IP don't show that he left the bases full in the inning that he gave those two up, so he was one (more) mistake away from at least 2 more.
  20. Try to get some enthusiasm for this Mavs team, but having a very hard time...after the backstabbing they put on Avery Johnson (only two players from that team left, but Mark Cuban unapologetically let it happen), now all of a sudden they've realized how important playing defense is & Dirk has finally grown a pair....I dunno....kinda like trying to find the love that you thought was maybe just buried & starting to realize that, no, it looks like it might actually be dead...Anyway, my son is happy, so that's good enough for me. Tell you what, though - if the Mavs go all the way this year (and I'm feeling a vibe like they will) & all the hype gomes out about how they've been such a great team all these years but just counldn't pull it together, call bullshit loudly and clearly. This has been a gutless organization "led" by a gutless "superstar" and a gutless owner who knows more about almost anything than he does character.
  21. Didn't get to see too much of the 2nd part of the game (still going on now) but Ogando was missed, Bush shows that nothing named "Bush" in Texas is to be enjoyed, and Eppley finally looked bad. More than anything, thouh, Ogando was missed. That lead would most likely have held with him in there. Oh well. It didn't.
  22. So, what the preference here, old, past-their-prime starters with some savvy but probably not the stamina to last a full season, or a bunch of young arms with good-to-great great potential but wiggy heads and/or blistery fingers? If those were my choices, I think I'd opt to be the Phillies...
  23. Well, there you go.
