  1. riddle me this, i decided i want many ralph sutton albums, they all, even the white label riverside or the verve are all only $3 bucks avg i could pick them all up for like 25 bucks prob but you know what i have ***NEVER*** seen ***ANY*** of them, definetly not the 10" 1st one on columbia, and none of them. so i got this today- but a later issue i prseume, a different jacket, w/ ralph + 2 dogs on it

AND ATAKATUNE IS STILL IN THE BAND AND SOME OF THE SAXOPHONISTS ALTHOUGH I AM NOT FAMILAR WITH THEM BY NAME HAVE BEEN IN THE BAND SINCE LIKE 1980 OH AND YOU SO FREAKING KNOW THERE IS GOING TO BE AN EXTRA EXTRA SPECIAL GUEST AT MY SHOW, AN ORIGINAL MEMBER PREDTATING MARSHALL ALLEN, ON SPACE TROMBONE.........(NOT ANNOUNCED, BUT DAWG.....OF COURSE ITS GONNA HAPPEN, HOW COULD IT NOT)

  10. dog i just learned the most awesome fact::: Don Felder, the 1st record he ever cut was at Englewood Cliffs, engineered by RVG, 1970! whoa the last session they did for it was the day before andrew hill "one for one" session

  13. ok i got one i just heard this on cd for the 1st time today....oh. my. god. it is 50-billion times better sounding than the lp, this title, i had it cranked to EIGHT on my JVC, i can hardly crank anything to eight. do yourself a favor, burn your lp of this, pick this up. maybe pick it up before you burn it. but yea- you need this bad

I cant believe he is now trumpet legend like clifford brown and not trumpet reality. Saw him one time, c. 2002. and i recall i was extra stoked for larry wills on piano
