  1. Update, one final time, with a couple additions and some price reductions. Thanks for one more look.
  2. "Transit" - Karl Berger/Dave Holland/Ed Blackwell (Black Saint) "Life Rays" - Walt Dickerson/Sirone/Andrew Cyrille (Soul Note)
  3. Made several additions. Thanks again.
  4. Happy Birthday. Blue Chopsticks and Locomotive are two favorite albums for me.
  5. Do you know the Palm Of Soul album by these three? To me, his playing on that one exhibits some of the positive things you mention. Of coarse that is the only Kidd Jordon I'm familiar with so I'm no expert. I do like the album though.
  6. Still for sale. I sent you a PM. Thanks, Bob. Nick
  7. I will cover postage in the U.S. I have been using the USPS.
  8. I added some stuff from the rest of the alphabet. Hey, BeBop, have a look.
  9. Since you are taking Steven Bernstein; I don't know where I even came across this but I put it on my list of things to look into. Anyone know Tatoos And Mushrooms (Ilk 150) by Bernstein, Marcus Rojas, Kresten Osgood? Odd combination, trumpet, tuba and drums I think. Hopefully this isn't too far afield of the topic.

  11. I've been listening to your BFT tonight, disk 1. I really enjoy track 2 (sounds familiar but I can't figure it out). My only guess at this time is that track 12 really sounds like Joe McPhee to me. I have a album called "In The Spirit" that is one of my favorites. To me spiritial kind of describes his playing. Regardless of who this track is, I like the playing.
  12. If ethical is a word you want to be associated with, you don't have a dilemma.
  13. "Landscape With Open Door" - Pierre Dorge/Walt Dickerson
  14. For some reason, I started on the bonus disk also. Track 14 really works for me. Big bass. Swings pretty good at times. At first blush I thought about some of the Dutch guys. Anyway, I will be interested to find out what this one is. Probably will eventually cost me money.
  15. No, I have not tried it. I've just never downloaded anything and sometimes computers scare me. I will give it a try. I didn't have much input but I got your last BFT and enjoyed the selections. Thanks. Thanks aparxa, also.
  16. Well, I am dumber than a bucket of hair when it comes to this stuff. Do I need any special software to download files??? Thanks.
  17. The record has made several moves with me so I guess anything is possible. It may have always sounded that way and I just don't remember. It's tough to get old. Thanks for the response.
  18. Well, this is probably a dumb question but is anyone familiar with this LP? My copy looks pristine visually but has a background "hiss" when playing. Only record I have like this. Problem with the recording or just my copy? Thanks for any thoughts. It's really good music but the noise makes it hard to listen to.
  19. Papsrus, I got the package from you today. Very fast. Thanks.
  20. Way back when, I bought quite a few LPs mail order from Rick Ballard Imports. Any chance this is the same Rick?
  21. Do you guys think there is more of a chance to damage (scratch) CDs storing them in plastic sleeves?
  22. Is that the record with the good music but extremely ugly cover painting? Pretty music, yes. I couldn't find an image of the cover anywhere but it is a human head on a plate with an apple in the mouth. So maybe ugly, weird at the very least.
