  1. Henin returning would be good news, tired of those mannequins who are afraid to break a nail, what women's tennis is more Williamses or really athletic players . Regarding The Clijsters-Williams match, Venus played like she did in her previous matches, quite spotty and erratic, she prevailed against middle of the pack players however against a very good level opponent her game was just not enough. Don,t think her preparation was wrong, she just played less than good tennis for the last few months.
  2. The big match of the day is on deck Venus versus Clijsters At the same time will start on a smaller court Del Potro against Austrian underdog Koellerer.
  3. Sylvain Sylvain David Johansen Johnny Thunders
  4. Don't knock the duck , it is worth .92 US Dollar
  5. Local HMV sells the stereo box at 189.99 $ plus taxes. Will do the trick for me.
  6. OJ Simpson Adam Jones Michael Vick
  7. Safina played with fire and got burned. Clijsters- S. Williams anyone ? One thing for sure this 7th day was quite special.
  8. Paul Coffey Andy Moog Jari Kurri
  9. 50 things that are being killed by the internet The internet has wrought huge changes on our lives – both positive and negative – in the fifteen years since its use became widespread. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/6133...e-internet.html
  10. Wow A-Rod was beaten, if there was a guy i'd bet he would go through today. In a somewhat related story http://www.usopen.org/en_US/news/articles/....html?promo=top
  11. When i said, it could be a long night, the Roddick-Isner match is now in the 5th set tie-breaker, is there a curfew for the start of a game ?
  12. Not showing it on the tube but Soderling has just beaten Querrey, no USA USA chant for the Grandstand fans today.
  13. Pam Grier Pam Schriver Pam Anderson
  14. Unless someone pulls out because of an injury, they will be some overtime on central court tonight, 3 games remaining and two involving men, you have conservatively at least 6 hours of tennis and a strong chance for a lot more.
  15. Young Oudin is about to eliminate Sharapova. Mary Carillo had a great line, you can't double fault more than the age of your opponent. Oudin is 17 , Sharapova has so far 19 double faults.
  16. Both favourites hold on none without some difficulties.
  17. Bizarro world ends at least temporarly as Federer wins the second set and Djokovic breaks twice his opponent
  18. The Djoker is in trouble also !!!
  19. Upset brewing, Federer is missing badly easy shots and on the verge of losing the first set
  20. Omar Sheika Glen Catley Eric Lucas
  21. Looking at the schedule today, two games do stand out on the main court. Federer-Hewitt at 11 am and to cap off the night Blake-Robredo should provide some fireworks with a partisan crowd on hand. If you prefer good action to big names the Grandstand seems offering quality matchups especially Soderling-Querrey.
  22. So let me get this straight for those who have next to nothing and want the integral and the so-called "real thing". Not only you have to pick up the more expensive set, that would be ok, but you have to buy extra cds on the side to complete your collection. Screw the health care debate, where is the outrage for this kind of trickery. Going against what seems the grain, will buy the stereo version, i enjoy music not headaches.
  23. Can't say that this year edition has so far provided a lot of thrills, despite seeing little of it the Navarro-Dent is the one that excited me the most during the first week. Anyway, things should be picking up with hopefully favourites being tested a lot more.
  24. Was going to write the same thing, finally paid the price with Nadal getting the break.
  25. Michael Jordan Don Mattingly Ryne Sandberg
