  2. Just purchased my ticket. I'm psyched! Guy
  3. Tim Duncan is an unstoppable juggernaut of boredom trudging its way to the NBA Title. Guy
  4. SS1 will perform the procedure if you give him a few Big John Patton CDs... Good luck, RT. Guy
  5. I don't see why a separate forum would be necessary. Guy
  6. Oh well -- it was a fun run while it lasted! Guy
  7. From November 5, courtesy of Jim S:
  8. I was bitching about this elsewhere -- whoever is doing the camera angles over at ABC needs to be fired ASAP. Some of parts of today's game were unwatchable. Guy
  9. ROTFLMAO. You forgot to put Dan's responses in all caps. Guy

    Don Cherry

It's a nice album, but Coltrane's recorded hours and hours of better music. Guy

  12. Break a leg, Alexander! Guy
  13. Baron's dunk over AK47 was just nasty. A nice comeback by the Ws. Hopefully they can bring the same focus to game 4. Guy
  14. I don't have much interest in reading Hitchens's new book, but if it's as good as this review by Michael Kinsley it might be worth checking out. (Warning to those who avoid political discussion on this board: the book is an anti-religion polemic.) Guy
  15. I was telling noj and SS1 yesterday -- one of my buddies (a big Pistons fan) HATES the Spurs, but says the only player that he likes on that team is Bowen precisely because he is a dirty player. I spoke to him today and he said that if Bowen keeps this up he might have to start rooting for the Spurs. Guy ps That jump kick was awesome.
  16. Unity was RECORDED in 1965, but I'm guessing it didn't come out until 1966. So I doubt any of the readers had heard it. Guy
  17. Are you serious, or is my sarcasm meter broken? Don't forget that changes in video camera technology are only making it "seem" like Barry Bonds is chunkier than he was 15 years ago. Guy
  18. Your favorite Spur, in action. The accusation. The deed. Guy
  19. Without checking -- it's either Kareem or Karl Malone. I'm embarrassed that I don't remember. Guy
  20. I think this pretty much nails it. Fisher is generally an average NBA player -- a role player. However, like Robert Horry, he's been associated with occasional clutch play in the playoffs. Guy
  21. I hope Oakland fans give Derek Fisher a standing ovation when he goes on the court on Friday. Guy
  22. This is the time to do it. His trade value is only going to deteriorate from now on and it doesn't look like Miami will win another championship with him. Guy
  23. I'm worried she'll fail the IQ test to get into prison. Guy
