Glad you didn't have any G-mares. That must have been quite a traumatic experience. Keep your eyes open, maybe you'll bump into Bin Laden next. -

And furthermore..........somehow this seems somewhat parallel........... LOS ANGELES (AP) - Less than a month after filing for divorce, the estranged wife of David Hasselhoff has filed for a court order on a claim of domestic violence by the former "Baywatch" star, according to court records. Actress Pamela Bach, 42, made the filing Monday against Hasselhoff, 53, in Los Angeles Superior Court, summary records on the court's Web site show. At a private hearing, Bach also asked for a temporary restraining order against the actor, but a judge denied the request, instead instructing the two to stay away from each other. "The court indicated that she should stay where she is, and he should stay where he is," Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman said by phone Wednesday, declining to comment on the allegations. Documents pertaining to the hearing have been sealed by the court to protect the pair's two teenage daughters and their privacy, Goldsman said. Bach was granted custody of one daughter while Hasselhoff was given custody of the other, publicist Judy Katz said Wednesday. Hasselhoff filed for divorce Jan. 12, citing irreconcilable differences after 16 years of marriage. Bach filed her own divorce papers a day later, also citing irreconcilable differences. Messages left Wednesday at the office of Bach's attorney were not immediately returned. Hasselhoff played lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in "Baywatch" from 1989 to 2000. He also starred in the 1980s TV series "Knight Rider," in which his character, Michael Knight, teamed with a talking Pontiac Trans Am sports car to fight crime. Bach appeared in the soap opera "The Young and the Restless" and in numerous episodes of "Baywatch" and "Knight Rider." -

Too bad you weren't driving THIS..... -
We "popped" wheelies. POP! Yes, we also "popped" wheelies. And then rode them.
-
My beloved Stingray 2-speed (mine was metalflake green). Used to ride it all over town. Remember "riding wheelies"? Seeing how long you could ride with the front wheel up in the air? Remember putting playing cards and clothespins on the spokes to make that sound?

I'd have thought this was more your style, Chuck...........

Great group. Nice arrangements- good balance of ensemble playing and solos. Pleasantly quirky. Eclectic. I'd say have a nice hot bowl of Tom Yum Kai soup and a nice cup o' tea at the Thai place and have yourselves an enjoyable evening!

Found a pic. Looks like valve, unless he "goes both ways".
-
Did Lars play slide or valve trombone? I was just wondering because the reviewer compares him to Brookmeyer.

.......I'm playing at the Eastern Trombone Workshop on Friday, March 17th, St. Patty's day. It's at Brucker Hall, Ft. Myer, VA at 8:15 PM. I'm doing a concert w/the Army Blues Band, a very good big band. I've written a bunch of new arrangements for this gig, and if any board members are in the vicinity I'd love to meet you.

MANALAPAN, Fla. (AP) - The pianist Yanni was arrested at his Manalapan home after a domestic dispute with his girlfriend, authorities said. Yanni, whose legal name is John Yanni Christopher, was arrested early Friday and faces a domestic battery charge, according to a police report. The Greek-born musician had asked his girlfriend Silvia Barthes, 33, to leave his beachfront home after they returned from dinner, the report said. Barthes told police the 51-year-old singer was verbally abusive during a car ride home. She told police that when they returned to the house she attempted to take her clothing off hangers and put it in a bag to leave. Yanni forcefully took her clothing off the hangers and threw them on the ground, according to a police report. Barthes told officers he then grabbed her by her forearms and shook her, throwing her on the bed, and jumped on top of her. Barthes had a bloody lip and told officers that she thought she might have hit herself when Yanni shook her arms, according to the report. Yanni told police that Barthes had kicked him and that he believed he had injured his middle finger during the incident, the report said. "I want everyone to know that I am completely innocent of any allegations made with respect to the events at my home on the night of March 2. These allegations are cruel, false, without merit and baseless," Yanni said in a statement released Monday to the Associated Press by his personal manager Danny O'Donovan. "At a more appropriate time and place, I hope and pray I will have an opportunity to address my fans and colleagues all over the world." No one answered a call to a listing for a John Christopher in Manalapan late Monday. In comments to The Palm Beach Post and South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Yanni's lawyer Orlando Gonzalez denied the musician ever hit or harmed Barthes and accused her of manufacturing the story to hurt the singer's reputation. "He absolutely is not guilty and did not strike that woman," Gonzalez told the Palm Beach Post, adding that "the last thing this man would want to do is hurt his hands." Gonzalez told the paper that staff at the home had witnessed the night's events and that they could dispute Barthes' account. Repeated after-hours calls to Gonzalez's office by The Associated Press were not answered.

They're exactly the same changes in the same key. The various perfomances might contain slight interpretive variations, but the form and chords are identical to So What.
