  4. A trip to FNAC in Lille at the end of a holiday in France used to be a treat but in recent years I've stopped going. All the branches that I've been in carry very little jazz and far less than they used to. I don't go to FNAC stores much these days. However a recent visit to the FNAC Left Bank store on the Rue de Rennes proved interesting with a well-stocked jazz section. (plenty of Japanese imports!). The FNAC store at the Forum des Halles was not too bad either.
