Dumb question of the day: I don't get it.... Its a reference to something Chris shared in his "Found" thread. Basically Driggs was a bad guy who claimed to own the rights to certain historic photos and would "earn" money by "licensing" them or else try to extort money for "unauthorized" use.

So I'm finally starting to grade the last group of LPs for my sale, and I notice one of those "Distributed by" stickers on the back of a Lockjaw-Doggett Black & Blue release - only its not the infamous Rick Ballard Imports, its "Master Takes Inc." of Whitehall, MI. I take it this was yours, Chuck? Is the phone number still good?

Only Lee and Hank rate higher as a frontline for me than Morgan and Golson (but the Columbia Messengers album is in a category by itself).
