  1. Jim, Are there any other neurological options other than the MSU department? If they're not responding, I think it behooves you to find someone in that area of expertise. Or else, go there first thing monday morning and speak to them face to face, with Allison. Failure to even call back is ridiculous. The only other thing I can think of is speaking to the doctors who have already seen her and seeing if they can get a response from the MSU department (assuming they just told you to make the appointment instead of making the referral). Good luck and godspeed. I'll be thinking of you both.
  2. Obviously the guy's an idiot who feels stupid for having bid on something he presumed was different without doing any research. But if you're concerned about your "good name" then I guess you should go ahead and refund the money. If you relist this, you might consider using the heading "Love Over Gold - Masterdisc".
  3. air guitar surf and one of the better ones, tickle.
  4. Congrats, Paul!
  5. GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY! What will be interesting is whether it will stand up on appeal-they've got a couple of appellate issues, I think. I have to admit when I first heard they came to a verdict so quickly after the last juror dumping made me think he was going to be found not guilty. But I'd have to imagine that the deposed jurors, especially the lawyer-doctor, were holding out against the majority. I do think justice was done.
  6. Yeah, but why sfx for that one and none of the others, like "love" or "banana"?
  7. "pout" is good "handstand" is ok "banana" is
  8. Since I can't make her do it with a less vulgar phrase, "spread your legs"
  9. "shake" is pretty tame. "lick" is not for children, though. You can get her to do a split, but I don't want to say how I found it.
  10. I'm thinking that tatoo is going to be the same keyword as "butt" but off I go to make sure!
  11. something for the girls to enjoy, I see ...
  12. Two are in. We better get more or there won't be any mystery about who is gettting what from whom.

There are a couple of Prez Conference sets that are worth hearing.
  14. Already found that through "make out with your girlfriend"
  15. Well that just opens an even bigger risk of not giving something that's desired! So .... as long as people send receipts ... maybe. I agree. Maybe the "Santa" could subtly ask the receipiant if he/she has a particular disk. Or the person could always send it back if they already have said disc. What about submitting the recipiant a list of about ten CDs so that he can let the other person know which ones he already has? The element of surprise would still be there!! How would you communicate with him while maintaining anonymity?
  16. Apparently, he thinks that such a forward thinker as Coltrane should have had a big ass flat screen television.
  17. If this has never been reissued, is there an album title associated? Is it Jam #9 or did it have a name like Tour de Force? It sounds like the tapes don't exist, so I might have to go searching for this one!
  18. When I attended Wash U. in the late '80s, Streetside had a decent jazz selection, too. I'd go to Vintage Vinyl for LPs and Streetside for CDs; I only lived about two blocks away during my first year of Graduate School.
  19. Then maybe its best to stick with an internet gift certificate under those circumstances?
  20. OK folks, here we go: To signup, post here and then send me, via PM or regular email (dangould@hotmail.com) your screen name; real name if different from your screen name, regular email address and a shipping address. Around the first week of December, I will make the Secret Santa assignments and let people know who they are shopping for. Gift guidelines: Anything goes, from personally selected items to a gift certificate at a cyberstore. Best to include receipts if you go out on a limb with something personal. Price of the gift should be in the $15-20 range. It occured to me that to preserve anonymity, folks ought to remember to put "Secret Santa" or no name at all if they are shipping the item, and if you have an email like mine and are sending an internet gift certificate, you should consider getting a yahoo or hotmail account using "Secret Santa" in your email. Just a thought! I leave it up to the individual to decide whether to open gifts on receipt, Christmas Eve, or Christmas Day . But do remember to look for the "Thanks, Secret Santa!" thread to let us know what you got and express your appreciation.
  21. Isn't it possible that borrowing the vamp was tribute, not uninspired thievery?
  22. Euclid Records, though they're most famous for their vinyl selection. http://www.euclidrecords.com If you're looking for some red meat after so much turkey, I can recommend O'Connell's for the best burgers I've ever had anywhere.
  23. I think there's confusion here ... does he want to play his stereo through the PC, or play something on the PC out through the stereo? I assumed he wants to input his stereo into the PC, maybe do some audio editing ... otherwise, what's the point of playing something on the PC out to stereo speakers? Wouldn't it be easier to burn a CD and play it?
  24. And its unlikely you need the amplifier-PC sound cards don't need a strong signal.
