I have come across a couple of items that were news to me. I have always had a hunch that The Beat of Brazil (which I believe was the last of the Mendes albums Atlantic released) was an old Brazilian album. It turns out the hunch was right. It was a 1963 album on the Philips label called Voce Ainda Nao Ouviu Nada! Google Translate says this means You Haven't Heard Anything Yet! The other item I stumbled upon was another Philips release which I was unaware of called Quiet Nights.

Montreal 19....Ottawa 12 Well, this was a bummer. I have had problems this year with the radio stations that carry the Montreal, Ottawa and Calgary games. I was unable to listen to either the Montreal or Ottawa stations today. The game was carried on the CBS Sports cable channel, so it was not available to watch (in the US) on the league's website. So I missed the game. It was Davis Alexander vs. Jeremiah Masoli. The Als led from start to finish.
