Holy crap! I can't believe the Cubs were down 5-1 on the road and won 9-6 in extra innings. Thanks Chicago!
Edit: Phils' magic number for the Division and the WC is now 3.
Yeah the house in New Jersey York gets more press but this one is important too. Apparently there was a fire next door recently. Cousin Mary lived(lives?) in it.
I took some photos last week of his house. If someone could find find the ones I posted of it from a few years ago, I'd be grateful - I seem to have misplaced them.
In this photo it's the house in the middle w/ the brown door.

I just want to know why we got 9 sacks against Pittsburgh yesterday but could not manage to get ONE against Dallas. I mean the Eagles' D couldn't stop Dallas at all Monday night. And yesterday they kept to Steelers out of the end zone and held the NFL's leading rusher(coming into the game) to 20 freakin' yards. What happened in those 6 days between the Dallas and Pittsburgh games?
FYI....
The Institute for Contemporary Art in Philadelphia will be hosting the following exhibition,"Pathways to Unknown Worlds: Sun Ra, El Saturn & Chicago's Afro-Futurist Underground, 1954-68." The dates are April 24 - August 2, 2009.
Thank you Atlanta!
Philadelphia is the first team to sweep a season series longer than four games in Atlanta. They swept three three-game series at Turner Field by a combined score of 49-24.
The closest the team came to being swept in franchise history was almost 100 years ago. In 1909, the Boston Doves lost all 11 home games to the Chicago Cubs.
The Phillies lead the season series 13-2, their most wins against the Braves in a season with three games remaining in Philadelphia next week.
