C'mon Cubs get the final out.
-
From watching the items that he has listed for the past year I would say that MC is selling stuff from his personal collection not overstock. I think he's doing a lot of spring cleaning and (for whatever reason) has decided to get rid of stuff that he either never listens to any more or has never listened to at all. He's been in the biz for over 40 years I'm sure his house is overflowing w/ all kinds of swag.

Well considering that he's missed significant time the past 4 seasons you're probably right. That game could have been a blow out for the Cowboys. The Eagles were handed two scores(the bad interference call and Romo's fumble in the end zone) that made it closer than it should have been. Donovan kept them in it until late in the game when he reverted to McChoke. It's shame the guy has never had any receivers to work with outside of the 1.5 seasons he had w/ TO. Still I can't pin this loss on him alone. The D gave up 41 freaking points and recorded zero sacks! Their LB's looked especially vulnerable on the pass. And Dawkins, dude I love the intensity you bring but you looked old out there last night when defending the pass. Oh and a shout out goes to the special teams who let Felix Jones avg. 42 yards per kickoff including a TD return. Reid's play calling .... ugh. On the bright side - DeSean Jackson is probably the most added player this morning in fantasy leagues.

I think McNabb had an excellent game, other than the two fumbles he caused (one turnover i think). The final play call cost them a chance at the end, not McNabb's play, IMO. He played very well until the fumble and then he fell apart. Again. The final play call was bullshit but you play the hand you're dealt. If McNabb hadn't been a bonehead by taking that sack then they wouldn't have been in such a precarious position to begin with. You're out of the pocket - just throw the ball towards the line of scrimmage. Don't take the sack. The last two minutes of that game showed you exactly why McNabb and Reid will never will a championship. 10 years together and they still have figured out how to run the 2 minute drill. Sigh... EDIT: That should read," have NOT figured out ..." and DonOvan McChoke. Dang typos!

Donavan McChoke does it again.

I think part of it is a result of the Mets collapse last year and how much better they've played since firing Willie Randolph. Milwaukee has a great deal of talent this year, some of which they won't have next year. I agree it's unheard of but I think it's the right thing to do in this case. Don't know the extent of it or how true it is, but word is Yost was panicking (Tony Gwynn for one has passed on info from his son who is on the roster.) I can understand why the Brewers fired him. They have lost 11 of 14 including a 4 game sweep by the Phils that dropped into a tie for WC lead. Don't agree w/ the firing but as a Philly sports fan I can understand that sense of desperation. I think Brewers management are probably thinking that they took a big gamble on trading for C.C. and that they have to - at the very least - make the playoffs to justify what is probably going to be a half season rental. They also don't want another collapse like last season. Remember how far out in front of the Cubs they were?? People tend to forget about it because it was overshadowed by the Mets epic choke. But I digress...

Mets lose and their lead is cut to 1/2 a game!!!

Yes, totally agree. I loved the sound textures he was able to coax from his keyboards. He really added a lot to the band. I didn't realize that he had been demoted to session musician status during the tour for The Wall. Man, that's cold. But tensions grew between Waters, Wright and fellow band member David Gilmour. The tensions came to a head during the making of "The Wall" when Waters insisted Wright be fired. As a result, Wright was relegated to the status of session musician on the tour of "The Wall," and did not perform on Pink Floyd's 1983 album "The Final Cut." http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Music/09/1...t.ap/index.html

Man! I love this game!!! Phils get a 4 game sweep vs. the Brewers and are tied for the WC with 12 to play. And they're one game behind the Mets who's bullpen blew their 2nd game out of 3 vs. the Braves this weekend.

Not to gloat, but I have a pristine mono six eye. Gorgeous... Mine was about a VG+ but still a little crackly. I gave it up for a CD copy and, of course, a fistful of dollars. I think I remember reading something about all of the vinyl versions of KOB being a couple of semi-tones off??? Or maybe I'm getting it confused w/ some other LP??

According to some "insider" information on Football Night In America his season could be over. Found this on the Boston Herald site. WEEI’s Ron Borges is reporting that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady suffered a torn ACL today, citing an NFL source close to the situation. If true, Brady is likely done for the season.
