  1. 1. Atlantic New Orleans Jazz 2. Tristano/Konitz/Marsh 3. Morgan/Shorter Vee Jay 4. Chambers/Kelly Vee Jay The Atlantic NO set is not my cup of tea, but the others are terrific. I like them all. Those Vee Jay sets really are wonderful IMO.

  3. Don't feel too darned bad about yourself. I've purchased 4 Mosaic sets in the last couple of months due to this board. Of course, all the sets are so good that I'd have been ticked if I'd missed any of them. Which four? Only four sets?
  4. OK, this one arrived and I have listened to it a couple of times. My highly literate review: VERY cool!!! My prior exposure to African music was Sunny Ade. This is jazzier and funkier and has a pretty sharp attitude. For the upcoming days: Dirty Dozen Brass Band Phil Ranelin William Parker Jemeel Moodoc Discovering new music kicks ass!!!!!!!!!! I'm glad you like it!

  6. Do you mean, the hip, sound of today? Exactly. A dried out door hinge. Why do you ask? With a sampler, you could make music with it. You should see all the songs I used my old refrigerator on. Do you prefer electric or acoustic fridge? Is that a Sears fridge? What are you Dionne Warwick??? No, but she is a psycho friend of mine. Where can I find a decent psycho friend at an affordable price? I've got some. You can have them for free. Just take them away from here. Are they still sealed? No, they're only in good condition. Honest seller. Item as described. A pleasure to deal with.
