  1. It's funny you mentioned that. I was thinking about the same thing earlier. Maybe it was from one of those "trainwreck" type sessions. He doesn't look too happy.
  2. I'd give up the Sam Rivers or the Larry Young this time. I have both Mosaic sets already and I don't need these titles. Heck, the Rivers set hasn't even been OOP that long. I would figure that many people who buy Conns would already have the Rivers Mosaic.
  3. Thanks Rooster! Nice work, couw!
  4. I was scouring that as well but RC sez that the saxophonist here only appears here. hmmmm... Who could it be?
  5. I'm almost wondering if Track 2 is Pharoah Sanders?!? It sure reminds me of his late sixties recordings, with less screaming. If not, could it be Keith Jarrett with Dewey Redman? R/C - I'm enjoying your compilation. I hope I can contribute more later
  6. Welcome Marla! Thanks for the info.
  7. My sincerest condolences, Randy. I wish you and your family the best.
  8. I've avoided mail order as much as I could, so I could support my local business. But, if this is how it is, then maybe I shouldn't feel so bad about doing all my business over the internet. It's a drag living in a society like this.
  9. I think it only would be fair if you do get beeped on your way out of the store (and you have purchased your items), that the store would give you a store credit for 40% of what you purchased. Since they have no problems tretaing you like a criminal, they should have no problem compensating you for your public embarassment. If this was the case, maybe the management of these stores would make sure their equipment is working properly in the first place. We know they don't care about the customers, but they do care about profits.
  10. If the band likes the Spam theme, here's a cover for their next record.
  11. Here you go! This will have to be it for today.
  12. That's making me queasy!
  13. I can't believe you guys can pick your worst album ever. I must have a hundred of them... oof! Following the Yoko Ono thread. I have to admit that I actually like some of her albums (especially FLY ), but I still don't know why I bought the ONOBOX. One CD I purchased a while back really stunk (to me at least, allmusic.com gave it four stars ). It was John Zorn's Songs from the Hermetic Theatre. I really like a lot of Zorn's stuff, but this was just boring to me. I'd rather listen to lawn mowers.
  14. It looks interesting, but it's too tall to me. It seems like it's more for DVDs. Though, if used for audio CDs, you could have larger artwork. I want a jewelbox that will hold 3 cds in a single size jewel box. I'd buy that.
  15. Now that it's actually your birthday... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope it's a great one for you!
