  1. San Antonio thoroughly outplayed through three quarters, finding themselves on the short end of many a whistle. The Maloofs have looked positively orgasmic in the crowd. The Queens' Martin, the kid who hit the winning shot in Game 3, has yet to be told how dated his hairstyle is. He looks like a back up dancer for Kid'N'Play.
  2. Hey, I was caught up in the moment. Kobe's shot to send the game into OT and the game winner were bananas. Gotta give Kobe credit for changing his approach to the game and being a leader. It's tough to get the free throw rhythm without shooting a lot of them over the course of the game. Kobe and Odom were in foul trouble today, it's amazing the Suns didn't run away with it. You're right, Smush was 1/10 from the floor before hitting that huge three, and the steal was as clutch as it gets.
  3. Kobe Bryant is superhuman.
  4. Happy Birthday!

Paging Jim, paging Jim! Jim Alfredson, white courtesy phone!
  6. Why make a movie about something that will end so badly? Too soon too, I agree.
  7. Thanks again couw. It might be a while, but thanks for the offer (BB). It will take me some time to buy the components.
  8. Duh, thanks couw. Does that work the same for a Mac? Might be worth skipping the headache to just get some USB thingie I can plug in and go.
  9. Thanks Claude. Won't you also need a stand-alone cd burner to use the turntable and amp method?
  10. According to Joey Crawford, the NBA referee who had the clearest view of the play and a much more in-depth understanding of the rules, it wasn't a charge. Kobe cleaning his balls off on Nash's forehead wasn't a big thing, but it was a fairly crucial play in the game. Kobe will dunk on anyone, no big deal. I still think the Suns will come back to win this series. I hope not.
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong, but this enables one to burn LPs to CDR. I would find this useful because I have material on vinyl that I'd like to hear in my iPod.
  12. But if you were Doug Collins you'd have been whining for a charge. "That should have been a charge! WAAAAAAAAHHHH!" Yeah, eat it Doug!
  13. Tea bag special for the MVP. My favorite part of the game (besides the Lakers winning) was all the joy leaving Doug "Captain Laker Hater" Collins' voice.
  14. Lakers played out of their minds on defense, and forced the Suns out of their game. I'll be seriously shocked if they can continue to play this well.
  15. up next: Thelonious Monk - Monk's Dream then: Andrew Hill - Andrew!
  16. I always liked Brent Barry, since his days as a Clipper/slam dunk champ. Now I hate him. Who am I kidding? It's only the Queens.
  17. Back in the game! Downloaded my 40 tracks in about 1/2 hour. Andrew Hill - Dusk Barney Kessell - Let's Cook! Jimmy Raney - A Junior Mance - Happy Time Kenny Burrell - Soul Call
  18. Spurs with a hideous first half of basketball tonight. I hope they make a habit of it.
  19. Anyone watching Washington get jobbed by the refs in Cleveland? That's at least four bad calls in the last 30 seconds in the Cavs favor. I mean, I like LeBron too, but c'mon now.
  20. As much as I'd love to see Kobe and my Lakers serve you up a big shitburger to eat, I know Phoenix is just plain better. Go Lakers.
  21. Between Cat Mobley, Chris Kaman, and Andre Miller, the Nuggets/Clips series is a screaming endorsement for throwing in the towell and going with a bald head once hair loss sets in. It's over guys, accept it.
  22. Conn about polished off a twelver last night. So much for waiting for the weekend!
  23. Stilt reversin' on folks...
  24. I've heard the thing about Wilt which can't be seen because there's no existing footage is the fact that he had freaky leaping ability. Apparently the Stilt could jump out of the building.
  25. That's not a fair comparison, $$1. Kobe doesn't even play the same position as Wilt, and Wilt was literally a giant compared to all the other players outside Bill Russell's shoes. Magic Johnson had a career total 138 triple doubles. During the 1961-1962 season, Oscar Robertson averaged a triple double with 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 11.4 assists per game. I'll still take Magic over the Big O as the all time greatest point guard.
