It is irritating that the courts will even hear such a case. Shouldn't they just tell this guy to go bugger himself? If I were in charge I'd invite the late Officer Davis' family down to take a few free swings while escorting him out of the courtroom. I've always found it irritating that people have been allowed to sue others for their own stupidity. Often places I would try to skateboard at would be off limits because people were afraid I'd get hurt and sue. Huh? Why the hell should anyone be allowed to hurt one's self skateboarding and sue someone else for it? This is where personal responsibility has been whittled away. No one should be able to sue for something which is one's own damned fault!

Is that book for real? I like the review which immediately references "penetration."

The Gators had more offensive weapons than the Bruins, played the same swarming defense as the Bruins, and were better on the boards. They won most of their games in the tourney by a considerable margin. I thought the Bruins would put up a better fight, but that Brewer kid shut down Afflalo and no one but Farmar showed up to play.

I knew SS had given the Bruins the kiss of death. I tried to pretend I didn't see it.

Inconsistent is a fair assessment, imo. But I'd never sell The Blue Yusef Lateef based on the strength of "Like It Is" alone!

I'd love to see the Mavs off the Spurs, but I have to agree with the assessment that the Mavs tend to crumble come playoff time. Maybe they've got the weapons this year, and maybe Duncan is hobbled enough to level the playing field--but I doubt it. I love the run and gun teams like the Mavs and Suns, they're great to watch. Unfortunately, the half-court-executing, rebounding teams tend to win titles.

I won't buy anything but a Honda or a Toyota, based on what I've read in Consumer Reports. Everything else is a lemon! The Toyota Prius is the highest rated vehicle, receiving top marks in all categories. I drive a Honda Element. It kicks ass! Decent gas mileage, full-time 4-wheel drive so I can mash up to the snow, plus it was designed by an Art Center grad.

Two buck Chuck's some good wine! The best pickles I've had come with the best pastrami on rye I've ever had--from Erick Schatz' Bakery in Bishop, CA! They make most everything sold in the store, so I'd assume the pickles are their own special recipe.
