based on Claude's recommendations i got the SACD from Mobile Fidelity and the sound is amazing. i love this album since i was a kid so for me it's a must have. i'm also addicted to the Concierto de Aranjuez so it's a perfect combination. back in 1983 i went to Aranjuez in Spain just to fulfill my deep passion about this piece. a small but beautiful place with a lovely castle. the latest edition adds 2 bonus tracks & 3 alternate takes, one of them being You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To btw. the lineup shows Paul Desmond, Chet Baker, Ron Carter, Steve Gadd and Roland Hanna. Brad, if you don't like it i'll reimburse you Marcus

Even within these confines, the listings can be many for an artist of Getz's stature. While we had luck with most of the sessions i nthis box, the two Roost studio dates, (B) and (D) were a nightmare. On some selections, we had to dub from LP's because no tape existed. On other tunes, there were 35 tapes, each one worse than the last and none coming close to a first or second generation. That is why the sound quality on these pales in comparison to that of the others. Suffice it to say, that we left no stone unturned and invested a great deal of time in transferring these sessions as best as possible. a different point of view since i'm not an american or an english native person. sometimes i feel the tone kinda aggressive on some posts but reading the posts afterwards i understand that is a different sense of humour i'm used to. i understand people come to this board to share their knowledge and to learn something new and sometimes being harshed by a simple question or lack of knowledge is a little bit unconfortable to me. i'm not saying that i've ever been offended by someone here, far from this, all of you are so nice with me but i think that we have a great community and we can make it even better having a little bit more of tolerance Marcus
