The label (Sketch) is defunct for a long time now, but used copies can be easily found. It's also recorded very well.

Steve Lacy - Anthony Cox - Daniel Humair "Work" on Sketch is a phenomenal record. Everybody shines.
  3. Finally listened to this one. It's very good.
  4. Listened to the Aurora trio and the solo set on Spotify. Great stuff, and the sound quality is excellent.
  5. Yes, absolutely
  6. Good baroque music well performed on very resonant and deep sounding harpsichord.
  7. This is a highly original Russian rock-jazz RIO band. I've been a fan for 20+ years, and they keep getting better and better. June 17 - Nighttown, Clevelend, OH June 18 - Rhizome DC, Washington DC June 21 - Jetlag Festival, Downsville, NY June 25 - Drom, NYC, NY
  8. Well written. These first two Jarman albums are my favorite by / with him by far.
  9. Pardon my curiosity. Such a low level of literacy - was this something typical for a person of Dolphy's background / circumstances at the time? He finished high school and attended college... Of course, he could have just been tired after a gig or something ("something" not being drugs or alcohol, since he was a teetotaler, as I understand).
  10. Hmmm, all the ICP releases are gone from Spotify. That's a shame. On the positive side, ICP started positing their concert recordings on bandcamp: https://icporchestra.bandcamp.com/ . I assume the old releases will be posted there at some point too.
  11. Thanks for bringing this up. Available on Spotify too. His work with Kaoru Abe is worth checking out (not for the faint of heart!).

    Anthony Braxton

Ms. Megan Craig who designed the box devoted all five minutes to it.
  13. Prompted by Schubert 960 thread. Good performance, excellent piano and sound. Never liked this work (or Schubert in general) that much though, did not like it today either.
  14. Well, not sure about physical releases, but they could be digitized and made available at bandcamp or Spotify or something. This could be crowdfunded, and the costs should be manageable. If somebody has contract to Gebers, perhaps this could be brought up.
