Everything comes to an end eventually, and Mr Davidson is 80 already. I am very grateful to him for all the music he released. I ordered from him directly numerous times, always an excellent service. I probably have most of the EMANEM / Psi CDs I need (more than a 100, that is), but I hope some way (streaming, bandcamp, etc.) will be found to have this wonderful music available to future listeners.

These are different pieces, they're just titled the same . I like the solo set more, although I have not listened to it all.

Mosahiko Togashi with Steve Lacy and Kent Carter. Good stuff, although it would have been great if it was just a Togashi-Carter duo. Lacy's participation makes it more "ordinary". Great sound. It's five albums of which four (with the exception of "Down South") are available from Ogun on bandcamp: https://ogun3.bandcamp.com/music . The music is OK, not spectacular.

Very sorry to hear this. Coincidentally, was listening to "Moon", his beautiful lyrical duo with Kirk Knuffke on NoBusiness, just yesterday and was thinking that I need to explore more Berger. This one was recently reissued on CD for the first time.

"Heart" is solid. Nothing earth-shattering, I agree. The only other album of Nahorny I have is "Pioseniki lwowskie" recorded in 1995: https://www.discogs.com/release/8000514-Włodzimierz-Nahorny-Piosenki-Lwowskie . It's a mainstream folk-type thing with accordion and violin, Nahorny plays piano exclusively. It's cute.

I have both. I listened to a couple of CDs from the solo set, they are excellent. I have listened to only the first CD of the duo / solo set, and it's a nice one as well, very lyrical. The balance between instruments is not perfect - the reeds are upfront and too harsh-sounding at times, bass a bit recessed and sounding quite shallow as if it's a cello. Please note that the last (and the longest) CD of the 3-CD set is solo by the bassist, Motoharu Yoshizawa. Wanted to listen to some Benny Golson and went for this one on Spotify. There is actually not that much Golson here, but a lot of Freddie Hubbard and Woody Shaw. One of them is extremely annoying going into weeee high register every three seconds. Guess who? Great drumming by Ben Riley.
