I think it is appropriate to air this kind of thing in public. This is not EBAY or Half.com, or any other trading post, flea market or online cd store. This is a group of people, some would say friends, some might even say brotherhood / family with a common interest. Most people when buying or selling here give "kin folk deals" and generally trust each other more than some Joe (sorry Joe) off Ebay. We accept checks, mail goods before payment is received, mail payment before goods are received and generally treat each fairly. In light of that, if someone is abusing this trust, we deserve to know about it, mainly in order to avoid future incidents and to proceed with caution when dealing with people who have not respected this trust in the past. Anyone here gonna send a copy of MONEY JUNGLE without seeing some green first? I didn't think so!

What's frustrating to me is that my wife and I don't qualify for consolidation yet they still call us at least 10 times a week. (not kidding) And that with us asking each to take us off their call list. Anyway, be careful when consolidating with another person (ie your spouse) Most loans are forgiven in case of death (God forbid), but if you've consolidated the survivor is still responsible.

Found a new one by Adam Scone. I know B3er is a fan and I'm planning to get his first one available on the site although it's not a priority. This new one is bit different. Scone with strings!! ...and vocals. The strings remind me of Barry White style strings which isn't a bad thing. The vocals however remind me of Joe Satriani's vocal (Flying In A Blue Dream anyone?) which is NOT a good thing. Don't take my word for it, check it out HERE

Any guesses who posted this review of Hank's HI VOLTAGE on the Blue Note site? Let's see... Hank fan, all caps. I don't see any HELL YEAHs though. I guess it could be anyone.

The picture in the article shows an album with the Blue Note symbol but it is not available at the Blue Note site nor is he listed as a Blue Note artist. Was this never releasedor has it already come and gone?

Disc, artwork and case in great shape. $6.00 gets it to your door (in US) Will even include the color printout of the original artwork which I used to hide that hideous blue! DISCLAIMER: this disc is due for RVG release this summer (barring any unforseen political turmoil involving Bruce Springsteen and the unlikely chance that Saddam or Osama begin calling themselves "The Boss") But if you can't wait until then, or you love the blue artwork from the Spanish series, then I have your copy. Let me know.

Conn, for your info., this is not one the titles that I got rid of to make room for the RVG. It's worse that that because I have never been able to get my hands on a copy (even a Spanish copy) to listen to! I HAVE NEVER HEARD BASRA!

Another point is, if shipping costs go up, the cost of goods follow and we're all going to pay for it one way or the other.

Don't get me started Jim. Cigarettes cost society much more in medical costs than is ever collected from tobacco taxes.
