  1. Thanks Dave, pretty interesting. I'm only familiar with the first In Action cover.
  2. Teddy Edwards & Howard McGhee - Together Again - (Contemporary yellow label stereo) Philly Joe Jones - Blues for Dracula - (Riverside Japan)
  3. Yeah, I am now down to 2/3 at my job (archivist) for the next several months and am therefore sending out my resume...
  4. It's funny - there's a whole "world" of Cecil after "Bulbs" but it's an absolute favorite tune of mine...
  5. Yeah, I nabbed an original Saba a while back - it's great!
  6. That Splinters disc is serious business!
  7. The Great Society - Conspicuous only in its Absence - (Columbia 2-eye stereo)
  8. And to think it's safer on Watership Down...
  9. Didn't Bernard McKinney also work with Ra?
  10. Pharoah Sanders Philly Joe Jones
  11. Cool, thanks for the heads up!
  12. Thanks for the Pike reminder. I have just a smattering of his work - including some of the stuff with Volker Kriegel, which I actually DO like...
  13. Dudu Pukwana & Spear - Flute Music - (Caroline)
  14. Yeah, "thingy" on google doesn't always get one the desired results...
  15. I suggest that you email Mosaic, and ask them how to go about getting a corrected copy. Don't have the CD; I was just asking for others' benefit.
  16. Will consumers be able to return the defective product? That is the main question.
  17. Yeah, except that most consumers are not as picky as you or I. Walt Dickerson - Peace - (Inner City pressing)
  18. Wasn't there already a thread about this?
  19. I'd probably listen to either one of those records WAY more than Cluster... New vinyl tends to be on the rough side, in my experience. Even things you think will be "decent" quality, like Numero or Rearward, tend to have scuffs that click on a virgin play. To say nothing of your average Dischord or Matador pressing...
